I just figured that the upcoming BH stuff that we're getting until TF4 would just serve as filler to tide us over until the movie (what with it just being upsized Cyberverse toys and redone versions of existing character toys instead of anything really new).Seibertron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:According to an interview Vangelus did with Clint Chapman at BotCon, the Go!-original molds aren't coming over.Seibertron wrote:I'm sure we'll see them stateside at some point.
I'd take that with a grain of salt since Hasbro hasn't announced their post-Beast Hunters plans yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Go! was brought over here, especially since the Beast Hunters toy line seems to be continuing well past the end of the cartoon which is rather odd. Usually at this point, it's just Hasbro knocking out repaints and such but we seem to be getting a lot of new molds still through the first quarter of next year which is odd without a cartoon backing it up. Also seems like that'd be the easy route since TF4 comes out next year. Time will tell.

Kinda like what the original Classics line was in 2006 when it tided us over until the movie in 2007. Or the RiD line in 2001-2002 that tided us over till Armada.
We'll see, I guess.
That's what I what I meant by "redone versions of existing character toys". It's just another Optimus and Predaking in the same fictional bodies as before, but with some extra flavor thrown in, instead of something entirely new.Seibertron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I just figured that the upcoming BH stuff that we're getting until TF4 would just serve as filler to tide us over until the movie (what with it just being upsized Cyberverse toys and redone versions of existing character toys instead of anything really new).

Don't forget the all-new molds for the really big Voyager Class Predaking and Optimus Prime!
Good question. Any ideas, Ryan?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Problem: How would the Samurai and Shinobi teams fit in Hasbro's price points? From what I can tell they're kinda like Breakdown, too much plastic for Voyager yet not enough for the next point.

I think he meant the G1 toy line.
Ryan wants to support Hasbro/TakaraTomy and not third-parties.synapse wrote:Mindmaster wrote:Hate to burst your bubble, but we've kinda strayed away from third party products.
Uhm... ok, why is that? :\

Because Ryan wants to show "total" support of the official products.synapse wrote:Uh... I understand the whole supporting Hasbro thing, I just don't know why a 3rd part gallery from time to time undermines that support.

Sabrblade wrote:Hey Ryan, I've a request for when you do the galleries for Goradora and his components.
For each gallery of Goradora's components (which are called "Jaki" - which is both a singular and plural term), could you take a few pics of each Jaki with their respective larger Predacon master?
Dorara (the orange/black Hun-Gurrr redeco) is said to be controlled by Dragotron (Japanese Predaking), while each limb Jaki is controlled by one of the four other Go! Predacons (the "Four Oni", as they are known).
Based on the color schemes, we can guess that:'Course, Judora still has yet to be released, so pics of him and Jurara together might have to wait until later.
- Garara (the green Twinstrike redeco) is likely controlled by Gaidora
- Burara (the red Blight redeco) is likely controlled by Budora
- Barara (the blue Windrazor redeco) is likely controlled by Bakudora, and
- Jurara (the purple Rippersnapper redeco) is likely controlled by Judora.
Though this has not been reflected in the cartoon (yet), the above pairing information that isn't just speculation comes from Goradora's toy bio.
