I'm not strictly an anime or manga fan, I just like comics and cartoons, no-matter where they come from, currently I'm more on an American cartoon and comics obsession stage, but I'm taking notes what animes I'll watch next once I'm in the mood for them again. I usually go off of them whenever I have the "pleasure" of meeting the local weaboos just to spite those disturbing freaks.

The last animes I recently watched where Gurren Lagann, because people urged me to watch it and it was free on youtube, and SpeedGrapher, because I finally found the last two DVDs, wasn't worth the long wait or the money I paid though.

Then again, it might have something to do with how retarded the anime industry has become over here, still can't help but laugh at them though whenever they cry because another label has to close down. Then how about not asking 4 4 times as much as other DVD shows for DVDs and boxes that aren't even aimed at anime fans but casual customers? :BOOM:

But I am currently reading Berserk, which so far isn't as wordy or bad-ass and over the top as I've been lead to believe, damn those stories make for fast reading, but then again I'm just at book four currently so all the stuff I've been teased with might come later.
Or I've played to much God of War and can't appreciate mortal badasses any-more

Anybody else think that they should make another anthology Batman anime like Gotham Knight?
I really liked the different animation styles and how all the stories managed to connect to each other despite their very different styles both in story telling and animation.
Anyone else lol out hard at realising that one of the stories used the set designs (just in an anime artstyle) of the Batman TAS series?

Kinda like Dante's Inferno: An animated Epic.
I highly recomend you watch that, AND play the game, and read the cantos if you have the time. Such a great story, and it all comes together perfectly between the game and animated version, though there are a few holes when compaired to the original scriptures (Is that the proper word? Scriptures?) But still, I recommend it.

Well I got the box set so I've watched 5 of the 6 DVDs. In Episodes that would be about 40. I'm trying to not spoil anything plotwise so that's why I'm being a bit vague.

Well, I love Soul Eater to death (See what I did there?)
But my main gripe is, NOBODY dies. Nobody good anyway. Alot of bad guys die though.
The only good guy who dies is Sid, and he gets brought back to life as a zombie. Zombie Sid is badass though.

ZZ is underrated, I think. Obviously it's nowhere near as good as Zeta, but that's probably why people soured towards it so quickly. Iv'e been trying to get into Gundam for ages. Problem is, I dont know were it started, or were to watch the earliest episodes, or what order to watch them in from series to series for that matter. Are they all subbed, or dubbed, or what? I cant get into something I dont understand.

Wikipedia is your friend.

The original series was just called Mobile Suit Gundam, started in 1979, 43 episodes. A few series didn't make it over to the US (ZZ Gundam never got a dub, for starters) but most of them did, including the original.

That was the only one I actually paid attention too, and was able to keep track of back when Gundam was airing frequently in the US.

All they have to do is NOT GIVE IT A STORY! Just make the opening the same as the game was and the ending the same as the game was. And in between, kill the colossi. And it should be a 2 part story. Otherwise it will be ruined. I honestly think they should just leave it alone, because we can just get the mood setting from playing the game. So I don't really see a point to the movie when the HD remake came out for the celebration of The Last Guardian (which STILL isn't f***ing out! :-x

In the middle of The Last Airbender. Now I remember why the movie sucked so damn much.
It's a bit corny, but also kinda dark for what's considered a "Kids Show."
After this, I'll be up to date, and start watching Korra. I wont feel so out of the frikkin loop.

First off, you made a damn fine choice watching that series. Second, it isn't anime. It just kind of looks like it.

And if you think Aang's story is dark, wait till you see Korra. I don't want to spoil anything but they openly admitted they were surprised at some of the things they were allowed to get away with. Having seen some of those things, I have to agree.

Wow, its NOT Anime? So this prooves that japan isnt the only country to make good animation!

They are just the only ones who are not lazy enough to keep it consistant.

So, I'm in book 2. Episode 14 to be exact. All this time iv'e been asking myself whether or not its a faithful dub. I see now that that was a dumb question to mull over.

I also dont often look into these things as often as I should. I need to dive into wikipedia more often.
