I didn't find the show creepy at all, but I thought at points the characters didn't make much sense. I didn't like the direction the second season took at the end.

Oh man I've not seen Trigun in so long. I really loved that show back when I first saw it.
Did anyone watch Majestic Prince? That was one of the better robot shows I've seen recently. I liked that wasn't too dark or serious like most shows try to be.

This series, though short is really impressive, and is one of those gems that actually leaves your heart thumping and stirs your emotions. It's also wild seeing characters like Captain Brite and Char Aznable return, as well as old One Year War mobile suits and vehicles, with plenty of wicked new hardware thrown in the mix!

My problem is that it's so long between episodes. Considering the length, as well as the art and animation quality, it's amazing that they're pumping these out so quick, but the length between episodes really hurts the flow of the story.

So the story doesn't end at episode 5? I assumed that since the source I go to online to watch it didn't mark it as an ongoing series that it was just a short 5 episode run. I haven't watched ep 5 yet. If it is ongoing, that's good news, despite the lag!

No, man, episode 6 came out March last year, while episode 7 (Which is supposed to be the finale) comes out next month.

Good to know! I'll wait a bit before watching episode six. Think I might pick up a few of the 4 inch figures to add to my collection. That Banshee is just plain wicked!

I also watched Kill la kill recently. I recommend it if your into that kinda thing. Wasn't as good as gurren lagann, but I think making the comparison is the biggest mistake you can make, instead of judging it on it's own merits.
Im currently watching Jojo's bizarre adventure, and I gotta say its strange. It's pretty cliche but yet its really good at the same time, like It feels like the sort of anime that should have come out much earlier like the manga but since it didn't it has this aged feel to it, but like dragonball that's not an issue, rather a part of the charm. I just hit the timeskip and Im not sure about the direction the show's going, but I'm liking it.

Check out my Art Thread! It actually gets updated from time to time!
