I laughed my assignment(i typed in ass but this is what SwiftKey gave me so I'm going with it) off for hours today. They have up to the beginning of the Trunk's saga done and it is so worth it to watch.
DBZ: The Abridged Series. Honestly, the only Abridged series ever to hold my attention was Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, which also happens to be the original. I very, very much didn't want to, since, like many people, I can't stand the concept of Yu-Gi-Oh, but relented at the insistence of a douchebag friend of mine who happened to be right.

Hmmmm I don't care for yu-gi-oh either but I do like parodies. Apparently teamfourstar is also involved with a hellsing parody. I'm very looking forward to watching it and trying to find the yu-gi-oh parody you mentioned.

BeastProwl wrote:Shadowman, you'll have a thing for Blair for months after this, you know...
BeastProwl wrote:Wigglez, Samurai 7 isnt like alot of anime, it's unpredictable, fun, and the best part is that the Samurai are mortal. They get wounded, hurt. My favorite character in that series died, but damn if ye didn't die like a hero! In the manly tears record right behind Zabuza and Solid Snake.
BeastProwl wrote:So, Im watching the Wolverine anime.
I just finished the first episode and I liked it. My only real problem is where does this take place in the -If any- timeline?
I need to know before continuing, is this an origin story in another country? Or do I need some prior knowledge before continuing to watch?
Also, both this anime and the upcoming Wolverine movie take source material from the same place, just a fun fact.

Shadowman wrote:Actually it's very predictable, seeing as it's based off of an Akira Kurosawa movie. If I remember right, all the deaths are pretty much the same between both. (The names certainly are)
Wigglez wrote:This isn't amine, but it should be I think because it still has Asian writing in it. I think that might have been a little racist... But I'm watching Avatar: The Last Airbender again.
Wigglez wrote:I want to get deeper and watch about the origin of fire bending, water bending and air bending.
Wigglez wrote:And to top it off, I want to learn the origin of the original Avatar and learn how he/she could do all 4 bendings. And then the avatar after that or however and see how they learned about their connection to the spirit world and the Avatar state. I love the series but I want to know more.

BeastProwl wrote:I dont see why another season is needed, it feels unnecessary. Korra rapped up good enough,
I heard on some panel that its mainly do to fan reaction, and money of course, but mainly the fandom. Wich is in itself, awesome.

BeastProwl wrote:Its not that I don't want more, just maybe a 3rd Avatar series separate from either? A prequel maybe?

Shadowman wrote:Why a new series instead of another season? You never even explained how the second season of The Legend of Korra was unnecessary, by the way.

Because Korra answered all of it's questions. The season finale was supposed to be a series finale, hense the reason it ended like it did.
No bad guy got away, and everything was accounted for.

BeastProwl wrote:I'm not saying I DONT want more Korra. I'm just saying more Korra doesn't make much sense. Two different things.
BeastProwl wrote:I'm all for another season, I just dont see were it could go. Besides getting into ancient history and spiritworld stuff, which is always fun, there isnt much for Korra to learn. Maybe she can refine each skill individually? Travel the world, learn from the masters?
BeastProwl wrote:I just dont see anything being a threat to Korra if she already knows everything.

Shadowman wrote:Then all they have to do is make something powerful enough that even a fully realized Avatar would struggle against it. It's not that difficult to conceive of.

Now, what could possibly take on the Avater? Thats worth speculation...

Wigglez wrote:To be honest, I would've been happy if they just had only the first series and never touched it again unless they decided to make it come out on Blu-ray.
Wigglez wrote:But I think the new one is a pretty good addition. But my favorite character of every single character out of both shows is Iroh. I would definitely drink some tea with him.
