I don't know if it helps at all Siren, but there is nothing definitive in the movie novel as to the fate of the Arcee team. So at least that means no confirmed kills. I know it just serves to make the gray area larger but the book was pretty descriptive and very definite when it came to characters biting the dust so I'm of the opinion that no news, at this point, is better than bad news. It may be such a thing as the powers that be were trying the concept of the Arcee team out and wanting to see what fan response would be. So far it's been all favorable from what I've seen. I'm hoping this means a return for the 'girls' in the next movies prequel novel and then again in TF3.

Arcee is the G1 Reflector of the Movies. And her fate is unknown. That's not too difficul to get.

On a different note, but still about the Arcee team, any other motorcycle buffs here? Anyone else annoyed that there was all this noise about how these bikes were being customized to make the Arcee bikes, and how they did all this custom work in such a short amount of time... and then, from what we can see, it just looks like a Ducati 848, Suzuki B-King, and MV Agusta F4 just got new paint jobs, and that's about it?

I agree, the bikes looks stock as rocks. Looks like no license plates/rear fenders, or mirrors. The Ducati Super Bike looks great in Arcee's colors though!

Oh, I agree that they look great, but it just doesn't look like much of anything was done other than the paint job, which is especially annoying since the guy who made the bikes sent them out to get painted by someone else.
His website, which was supposed to have all sorts of info on what was done to the bikes and pics and merchandise as of midnight when the movie premiered, to date only has two pics of the bikes from some bike show a couple weeks back.

As a bike guy, Arcee was the character that I was looking forward to seeing the most. In the end, I probably found Sideswipe most enjoyable, even though they both only had about 30 seconds of screen time.
