That's more of a riddle than a mystery. I can peice together stuff but I suck at riddles.

Greatest mold narrows it down to every line released in the last 30yrs and is very subjective.

We know he is a big fella and is kinda uninteresting.

Ultra Magnus is my first choice, but he got more interesting as of late. Not sure if any variation of his guy would be considered the greatest mold ever.

Gen Metroplex literally shipped with some assembly required, but I doubt he's considered on anyones greatest list. But other than being big he has little characterization.

In that vein, G1 Fort Max comes to mind. Another big guy that to the best of my knowledge isn't all that well fleshed out.

Maybe one of those crazy 6 changers.

I have a huge void in my toy knowledge that spans from after G1 to Prime, so this is going be tough.

I fell you're keeping it simple and this is a g1 toy.

Any hints that won't give it away?

It is a toy that has been released in this decade and is not that large scale wise like you were mentioning but in other ways. Optibotimus is really the only one who did not like the figure that much in its original incarnation.

Jeez I blew those photos out. I made some changes to my setup and I still haven't gotten a grasp on the lighting yet. Last night they were too dark, tonight to bright. The camera display cannot be trusted.

Yeah a bit. I just over exposed the pics. I added some diffusing sheets and I haven't gotten used to them yet. Practice makes perfect or at least good enough for me.

Might go that route sometime, though I'd prefer to go Transformerland since I trust them more on quality stuff. They inspect figures that have been removed from packaging, and just makes it more comfortable to purchase.

I buy stuff I never thought I'd get/find/afford all the time because of that. Patience.

On my eBay account, I have something like 50 saved searches. Stuff pops up all the time (I have to check it twice a day otherwise it piles up) but I only buy if the price is truly right or quite a steal. This might be why my hauls are always so random. Right now, there's some 3P MP's on my hit list, and finishing off my TFC Predaking, but I constantly get sidetracked with stuff I've been hunting for years that randomly pop up for that "OMG" price.

Speaking of random.... just scored a set of Botcon 2016 Magnaboss stickers for $7.50 with free shipping about 15 minutes ago. Now gotta figure out what to do with them.

I already have an extra Prowl that is currently an arm with the other Prowl, but not sure what to do. The 4 "leftover" limbs I have are 2 Prowls, Ironhide and Wheeljack all attached to Optimus Maximus/Sky Reign depending what I'm feeling at the time, plus a spare Sunstreaker on the lost light shelf where Trailbreaker, Hound, Smoke and mirage are combined with Cyclonus. What to do...

Maybe buy an extra Silverbolt and Ironhide, but then what for the remaining limbs? Trying to figure out how to make a Magnaboss :MAXIMAL:

I heard somewhere, maybe on the podcast, that Scattershot makes a pretty good torso for Magnaboss. That way you'll at least have two different bots. Limbs are pretty much up to personal preference.
