May have been a bad choice. Getting one from Amazon tomorrow, so I'll let you know.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:passed on Stormshot from RiD
I used to like those Pacific Rim figures a lot, until I bought a Romeo Blue that broke as soon as I opened it.And for the 2nd time in a week, I opened that Gypsy Danger, and it broke

I know he's good, but I already have some Aerialbots, and I need to start being a little more selective. I saw 5 between 3 stores, so he's around, unlike Springload...Autobot N wrote:May have been a bad choice. See, I try to swap the arms out, and instead of the ball joint popping like its supposed to, the hinge snapsAutobot N wrote:I used to like those Pacific Rim figures a lot, until I bought a Romeo Blue that broke as soon as I opened it.And for the 2nd time in a week, I opened that Gypsy Danger, and it broke

See, I couldn't find him anywhere, until I stumbled on him on Amazon at $6 off ($14), so I jumped at the opportunity.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I know he's good, but I already have some Aerialbots, and I need to start being a little more selective. I've got one of those Anchorage Attack Gypsies, and it has held together pretty well, but my Crimson Typhoon is incredibly loose (shame, as he was my favorite one) and my Striker Eureka's (which I gave to my brother) arm broke.See, I try to swap the arms out, and instead of the ball joint popping like its supposed to, the hinge snapsI want a Gypsy Danger figure, but he won't cooperate

Or make the figures out of a non-softish plastic.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:I've got one of those Anchorage Attack Gypsies, and it has held together pretty well, but my Crimson Typhoon is incredibly loose (shame, as he was my favorite one) and my Striker Eureka's (which I gave to my brother) arm broke.See, I try to swap the arms out, and instead of the ball joint popping like its supposed to, the hinge snapsI want a Gypsy Danger figure, but he won't cooperate
They really needed a different system for changing out the arms, or at least making the joint stronger

Yeah, the material is a bit crap too.Autobot N wrote:Or make the figures out of a non-softish plastic.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:I've got one of those Anchorage Attack Gypsies, and it has held together pretty well, but my Crimson Typhoon is incredibly loose (shame, as he was my favorite one) and my Striker Eureka's (which I gave to my brother) arm broke.See, I try to swap the arms out, and instead of the ball joint popping like its supposed to, the hinge snapsI want a Gypsy Danger figure, but he won't cooperate

I'm looking forward to the 2nd movie. Hopefully we'll get a good Gypsy 2.0 that I can getAutobot N wrote:That much is true.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I do love the light up chest though. It's gorgeous. And I love the swords

Looking forward to it as well, but I don't think I'll ever be able to watch the first one again. I swear, my brother watched that movie so much that I could probably recite the entire script.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I'm looking forward to the 2nd movie.
I'd doubt it.Hopefully we'll get a good Gypsy 2.0 that I can get

In defense, it has been rumored that the movie will feature Gypsy 2.0, with the Jaegers taking on a more "kaiju" feel, sort of like the lines blurr between the 2 in this movie.Autobot N wrote:I'd doubt it.Hopefully we'll get a good Gypsy 2.0 that I can get
I blame Will and Cobs. They've got me on this Voltron streak. And you know what's funny? Target had a black lion in the system, but he wasn't on the shelves, meaning someone had him in the cart, or more likely someone picked it up and dropped it somewhere hidden in the store. (I was in there for 30 minutes after not seeing him and I left 5 minutes to close, hence 2nd being more likely)bodrock wrote:I saw 4/5 of the Voltron lions at TRU today too! Also, no Black, though....and I ultimately spent $60 on Nioh (for the PS4) instead.
So glue doesn't work, good to know. I'm deciding whether to return him or to just keep him and glue the arms in solid placeSureShot18 wrote:I got that Gipsy on a bit of a whim and it also broke at the elbow hinge straight out of the box. I barely touched it. I've hot glued it back on a couple times but it hasn't stayed. The other elbow is fine so far, I've also tried sanding down the elbow ball joints to make it less of a tight fit but it hasn't really worked. But everything else about it is pretty great.

But I almost got the Lions for them....but it would've been really for me. At $20 a Lion though? Great price, honestly.
