I'm loving Calidus (Rodimus!), and both modes definitely reprazent MTME!

Between him and DX9's Carry, there are excellent choices out there for Rodimus Prime.

Of all things, no one had black. Damn.

Passed on 2 Gnaws (I will be good with my 1) and on Stormshot from RiD. Still no legion Springload.

And for the 2nd time in a week, I opened that Gypsy Danger, and it broke

I used to like those Pacific Rim figures a lot, until I bought a Romeo Blue that broke as soon as I opened it.

See, I couldn't find him anywhere, until I stumbled on him on Amazon at $6 off ($14), so I jumped at the opportunity.

See, I try to swap the arms out, and instead of the ball joint popping like its supposed to, the hinge snaps I want a Gypsy Danger figure, but he won't cooperate

I've got one of those Anchorage Attack Gypsies, and it has held together pretty well, but my Crimson Typhoon is incredibly loose (shame, as he was my favorite one) and my Striker Eureka's (which I gave to my brother) arm broke.

Yeah, the material is a bit crap too.

I do love the light up chest though. It's gorgeous. And I love the swords

I saw 4/5 of the Voltron lions at TRU today too! Also, no Black, though....and I ultimately spent $60 on Nioh (for the PS4) instead.

I got that Gipsy on a bit of a whim and it also broke at the elbow hinge straight out of the box. I barely touched it. I've hot glued it back on a couple times but it hasn't stayed. The other elbow is fine so far, I've also tried sanding down the elbow ball joints to make it less of a tight fit but it hasn't really worked. But everything else about it is pretty great.

In defense, it has been rumored that the movie will feature Gypsy 2.0, with the Jaegers taking on a more "kaiju" feel, sort of like the lines blurr between the 2 in this movie.

I blame Will and Cobs. They've got me on this Voltron streak. And you know what's funny? Target had a black lion in the system, but he wasn't on the shelves, meaning someone had him in the cart, or more likely someone picked it up and dropped it somewhere hidden in the store. (I was in there for 30 minutes after not seeing him and I left 5 minutes to close, hence 2nd being more likely)

So glue doesn't work, good to know. I'm deciding whether to return him or to just keep him and glue the arms in solid place

No but you showed pictures, and that was the tipping point of my Voltron scale!

And yeah, they had to have just stocked the limb lions. they had those 4 altogether on the shelf. Still salty about no black lion

Cobotron & Will definitely tempted me to take another look at least - I had wanted them when I first saw 'em awhile back....but I'm too obsessed with TFs I can't even collect other robitz.

I watched Voltron for a bit, and I do love it. I love the concept and the execution. One of those things that isn't right up front in love but is always there. And when i saw a good toy of it was out and it was affordable, well, rabbit hole...

I definitely understand the love D-Max -- my kids actually started watching it! Unfortunately, they started without me. ;_;

But I almost got the Lions for them....but it would've been really for me. At $20 a Lion though? Great price, honestly.

It does work if you're careful. Which I wasn't. It only came off when I tried to switch out the arm and tried to bend the elbow too far.

Yeah, seeing all the prices online was crazy, and Cobs said the same thing about finding them in stores was the better option. I just gotta find the $30 black lion. And these guys are lots of fun.
