I got the whole set for $86, which is pretty much retail for the molds themselves!!

And Bodrock, you have no idea how excited I was for Oilmaster, among others.

All in all with the Cybertron's most wanted, I would rank them:

1) Megatron
2) Oilmaster
3) Stepper
4) Battletrap
5) Packrat

The top 4 are very close, so they are hard to differentiate, but I had to try

Love the pics, D! Especially the Maximals and, of course, the Pretenders!

I can't wait to see Dinobot and Optimal added to that line-up. Any plans for a Cheetor?

I didn't want the MP, I sort of wanted Optimus, but I think I'll really like the PotP one, so I'm not sad about that choice. I'll wait for an eventual release of Cheetor elsewhere

I'm really looking forward to PotP Primal! I'm hoping for a Generations Cheetor -- deluxe or even legends class would be perfect.

We need a good deluxe Cheetor that then makes a good deluxe Tigatron.

My Maximal crew so far include Thrilling 30 voyager Rhinox and deluxe Rattrap, with botcon deluxe Deptcharge and Packrat.

It will include Leader Optimal Optimus and MP Dinobot.

It would ideally include a deluxe Cheetor, Tigatron, Blackarachnia, and Airazor; voyager Silverbolt and either voyager or leader Tigerhawk

You kids mentioned Cheetor, whatabout that deluxe from the Universe 2.0 line? He was pretty good, right? Looks the part at least..

Also. That dang Megatron out of that set. That's what I wanted the most!

I have heard about and seen that toy, but I've never really heard good things about it.

Megatron is the bomb! I am sad though because after transforming him once both ways, I tried to attach the mace to his spare tire in truck mode to store it, it got stuck, and the peg broke off, so I can't use the chain mace anymore

And I liked Battletrap when I saw him those years ago, but I never thought of completing the pair until I got Blitzwing and shoved Flywheels onto him, and the club was on sale!

Yep, his mace broke, I'm sad because I loved it and it was my favorite weapon. No, the shipping was $12 more for the box, so i went the cheap route. It was not the reason he broke though.

and yep, I love Flywheels and Battletrap, though I am excited to see what PotP does with the legends class supposedly redoing Battletrap

I like that Cheetor, Cram! My brother still has the transmetal Cheetor; he looks cool, too.

Yep! I got it at an auction years ago. The train doesn't actually run anymore, but it still looks great! It clamps onto the middle of the tree, and it has 8 legs sticking out that 8 pieces of track then rest on. I love it!

Up first, my 2 most recent TFsource christmas challenge photos (Sorry Bronze, I so far have been unable to take a picture involving a winter sport. We need to get snow here, it's cold enough!!)




I'm personally proud of Swerve and Nautica. And I am not going to use the same figure twice for any photo, to spread the love.

Up next, my Botcon set has been getting some love lately. I got around to posing Stepper some, and loving him as the only version of the classics Jazz I have. Nebulon is cool, but I wish his gun barrel would take some cues from his MP self.




And finally today, I messed around with and have been messing around with Oilmaster a lot. He is so cool, and my love of Pretenders and the swerve mold certainly helps! I also enjoy carrying him around since he is a nice tidy 5 part package that can sit pretty much anywhere thanks to giant feet and stability

Baby definitely got back, but considering he is a giant armored gorilla thing, the backpack works and really doesn't take anything away from him.




One thing I will say: I think the clones would be good templates for modern Pretenders. Their transformations are simple and pretty close to the original pretenders. And if they can make the same body look like a bird, plane, car, and puma, i think they could use that for Pretenders.

That is all for now. Megatron and Battletrap will get some love too. The set has made me so giddy with excitement, and with my vow to not buy any PotP things till next year, and with only a pair of clones and a cogman left, I will enjoy them all month! (Firage was pushed back a month, and I am going to wait to ship until January anyway)

That's pretty much the case here too. But it looks cool enough that i keep it. It helps make the tree interesting, and adds some extra spots to hang ornaments

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang that Oilmaster is cool!! I didn't realize that's how the double Pretender worked!! Pretty dang nifty.
