I did not win him, but the joke is on the other guy, as soon as the bidding went above another complete one with the shipping cost included, I made that guy a low ball offer on his Terrorsaur and got it! so the other guy actually ended up spending $5 more for his Terrorsaur
Oh Cram, it's a royal pain! I really thought i would be farther along than I am! But here are some pictures from the unpacking today!

I'm very proud of this display, as it is complete

I think it would be more fun if I had a day off so I could do it all at once

But check out the latest setup. I'm very happy with the Primes/Elita display that I had planned but now is better than I had hoped.
Excuse the awful lighting, my apartment is entirely lamp and Christmas light lit in my living room and bedroom (they are all in the living room right now though)

Thank you!
And that is a 3D printed version of his Mastersword from Makerbot. I did not design it, but I found it, printed off the pieces, built it, and now he uses it!
And at the end of day 3, I am exhausted, and still have about 30 bots to go or so... maybe more like 40... And I am not 100% happy with my setups, which means after I get them all up, I may take a break, and then reorganize some of them

1) he is pretty sweet! Despite being on the C-team list of BW figures I plan to hunt down, he is very cool, great choice! I love the colors, the long arms, the head, the posing, it's all really fun! The transformation is quite cool for being so simple too.
2)
3) oh Bod, we are finally going to be getting back into the swing of new pictures!!! I got some catching up to do

D-Max Den 2.0: The Rebuilt Beauty
Posted by D-Maximal_Primal Sat Mar 24, 2018 11:49 am
First up, disclaimer: you will see pictures of me and my real name. Most of you have shipped something to me or are fellow staff members with me or are friends on Facebook or Twitter, so I figured I wouldn't care if you saw those, only a few of you haven't.
Secondly, my camera would not focus that well, so some pictures may be a bit foggy, but that's because I couldn't get them to not be. If you want me to try to take clearer pictures of certain sections, quote it and I will try!
Finally, who wants to play a little scavenger hunt while going through these? If you see anything interesting, or if you just want to ask who a certain character is, let me know!
Well, enough blabbing, let's get on with the 55 pictures!!!
First up, we will just take a quick tour of the spac, starting with the living room, the dining area, kitchen, bathroom (for the shower curtain) and the bedroom:

Now let's break it down into more detail shall we?
Couch and coffee table, complete with Disco ball:

And look inside, and we have: boxes!!

This is actually a lamp with some shelves i found at Walmart, neat! hangers for keys are to the right, and the nerd things shown here include Baymax, Fox Sports Cleatus Steelers edition, USS Enterprise, and some motorsports stuff, including a Jeff Gordon clock

Up next is bookshelf #1, containing all my Clive Cussler books as well as some other books. a lego BB-8, my lego Grevious, a Bumblebee piggy bank, and robots are here as well.

Don't ask my why some of these guys ended up up there. Voltron was always going there cause of his size, but then I liked how OP could spread his wings, and then it only made sense for a god to join them. the others just followed suit cause leaders and pretenders looked good up there.

And then we come here, to a special shelf. Basically, this is the D-Max treasure shelf. Every figure you see here has a special meaning to it, in some unique fashion. The reasons can range from the character to the toy to the line to the reason I own it. I will gladly go into more detail if anyone would so choose to ask

some close ups of the rest of the shelf:

I actually like having Devastator down there. He's guarding my wifi, my Xfinity box, my cd player, and he is big enough there to look good on the floor.

Up next, a view of the TV, its platform, and the 3 layer shelf. The middle is for the 2 Gundam I have to build and for initial room for more figures as they come.

I'm very proud of this display right here. It started as my planned OP through the Prime wars trilogy shelf, but it had the space, so it included other OPs, Elita, A3, and even regular Rodimus Prime! Fort Max also worked perfect in the background between the speakers. And then there is Barbatos Lupus, Gypsy Danger, die cast Voltron, and Blue with Owen.

Paralon is separate from the rest of the RiD guys cause he is going to get a Predacon symbol and be my beast wars Scorponok

Bookshelf #2, complete with school books, comics, and my DVDs, which that may need a clearer shot. Also has miscellaneous bots, movie bots, and Lockdown and the minicon assault team

Up next, my command post. This chair was got by my parents for $6 at an auction years and years ago. It was set down in our basement when we got new chairs, but it was always my favorite, so I took it, and I still love it. Also included is a shot of my porch, which will get a glider on it once the weather warms up.

And then we have this display, which has movie cons as well as big bots

Then this circular shelf, containing my MPs, movie knight with a bonus Grimlock, animated/beast wars, and some other bots, including the Wreckers and Monsterbots

Next up, my end table, complete with Harry Potter Wand and jokes. And inside: my chess set

Shot glass, goblet, and bottle collection. I like this part, and the fact that the kitchen wall has shelves in it

Lunch stuff:

Hey Cary, anything here look familiar?

Twinferno still hanging:

I love my table, complete with test tube shot glasses (no I am not an alcoholic)

Hallway:

Closet, solely to see all the hats:

Desk stuff:

Little shelf I bought Thursday, and nailed the back cover on backwards
has all my Prime/RiD stuff, some guys who look great in alt mode (it was too short for more than a row of robots) and some beast guys who can spread their wings next to Star Wars stuff. I haven't touched that Star Wars stuff in ages, bases and stuff could be with the wrong guys!

Why yes, that is a Train shelf that I like where it's at and don't want to hang it up

some other stuff:

My lightsaber backpack. still dunno what I'm going to do about them

Battle Force 5 stuff, with a few extra vehicles

And finally, a nightstand and bed, shown here for the stuffed nerd stuff

And that's a wrap! There will be plenty of pictures to come, and I am looking forward to playing with all these guys again and sharing some awesome pictures!!!
