Well, to answer that question, I'm dividing what's coming next into 2 posts for reasons, so here goes.

Currently enjoying the warm sun of the Orlando area, visiting Disney. I have plans for saturday that may result in a special TF purchase, and you guys as always will see.

Well, I did make this today:
Image

Also, while at home, I decided to see if a Titan master could fit into Hot Spot's bucket. Didn't uncombine him, but I did find a reason to call him Buckethead part II

Christmas stuff will come in a few days as promised

Well, here goes the first one of these.

Now as a rule reminder, these are toys that you bought in 2016, not ones that came out only in 2016; also, these are figures based on how much you enjoy them, not necessarily how good they are. and with that in mind, let's go!

16) Combiner Wars Trailbreaker
Image
my favorite of the limbs from this year, retail release wise. His HFG makes a great forcefield generator and he looks awesome as an arm. Plus, I love his colors and his character.

15) Generations Drift
Image
Been on my radar for a while now, and finally found one at a good price. Shout out to the awesome Shajaki for the sword! I owe you a beer buddy!

14) Robots In Disguise Bisk
Image
This year was awesome for RiD cons, and this guy was a good one. Love a lobster bot.

13) Combiner Wars Thundercracker
Image
Another guy that has been on my radar. Really good figure, and I love the character, so I'm glad to have picked him up. Well worth it.

12) Generations Warpath
Image
A masterpiece worthy figure that was also a find at a great price. awesome figure, can't recommend enough.

11) Titans Return Wolfwire/Blurr
Image
Couldn't really differentiate how good these 2 were, so I tied them up at 1. Yes you can do that, shut up. Both are really awesome figures from the line, go get them.

10) Animated Shockwave
Image
Another figure on the wait list, and one that was at an amazing price on ebay. Really fun double spy. Me likey.

9) Titans Return Cerebros
Image
Love this little guy. Fort Max may be the big boy, but this guy is the star of the show. I recommend Fort Max purely for Cerebros.

8) G1 Sideswipe
Image
Finally got a G1 toy, and it is a good one. Love it, and I wish all G1 toys were like this guy.

7) Hunt for the Decepticons Seaspray
Image
Alright, a figure that was off my radar, came on, bought and delivered within a week. This guy is me if I weren't out of shape and if I could actually dive. I love the concept of sea-formers and of diving, so this guy is a dream come true.

6) Robots in Disguise Thunderhoof
Image
Best RiD figure of the year. I've said enough for the past 9 months for this guy.

5) Combiner Wars Strafe/Computron
Image
Best combiner overall of the sets. Really good figures, Strafe is my favorite, but I count him in with Computron. Scrounge is a lovely bonus.

4) Universe Overload
Image
This guy is so high not because he's good, but because he is so fun. Real big, chunky, easy to transform, yet posable. Love him to death, and he'll blow you up with missiles.

3) Titans Return Rewind
Image
My mascot. the little guy goes with me almost everywhere. plus, he's a triple changer, so he has that going for him. and he's cute.

2) Titans Return Alpha Trion/Lione
Image
Best TR figure to me. I ignore his spaceship mode mostly and I love his lion mode. Sawback/Lione goes with him as a set, and I am so happy to have got this pair.

1) Masterpiece Shattered Glass Optimus Prime
Image
Yeah, I know. but I'll stop talking about him when he stops being so damn good.

That's a wrap folks! Hope you enjoyed, and let's get some lists going!

It's odd. On paper, UWputron is superior. But I ended up liking Hasputron more... he's just an awesome take.

On the whole Computron issue:

Personally, I plan to use Scattershot, Nosecone, and Strafe from UW, and Scrounge, Lightspeed, and Afterburner from CW.

I really can't afford the UW one, especially after this past week.

Speaking of which, check out 2 images of the hauls from Universal/Disney, and a bonus image of a Shirt I really should have bought but couldn't justify:

It is not. It's similar with regards to limb placement, but it is very much it's own mold. I think it's better than Roadbuster and Lockdown honestly

But for the way thinks work, I'm happy. Plus, he has the molded seats and the doors open like they do in the ride. The arms are maybe the one rough point, but it's sweet. His feet and a rocket booster that goes over his head make up the back, and he has some nice extra moving parts

Nice top 16, mines on its way (eventually). Glad to see Warpath on there, he's one of my favorite TFs ever. I got Evac in the summer of 2015 when we went to Universal too. I don't like the figure very much personally but I wanted to get it since you can only get it there. Are they still selling him and other deluxes at voyager price? Cool lightsaber and that's Harry's wand, right?

Well, I was inspired to take some time and hang with Evac in front of the camera. I do really love this guy. Yeah, he was $30 for a deluxe, but he is something special and unique.

Let's start with robot mode:
Image
I love the shoulders and chest. They stand out so well and the shoulder wheels are amazing looking. They make him look tough and bulky, yet still lithe and athletic.

Image
His head is really cool too. It is undoubtedly movie-verse, but it looks good. Plus, I love the yellow eyes and silver face paint.

Image
I wish his shoulder broadness carried over to this pose. It would work perfectly for a flexing pose.

Image
He has 4 weapons: one on each wrist, and a pair on either side of his mid torso, below the car front. Those end up in his grill in vehicle mode too. He can pull off the gun pose pretty good!

Image
Another shot. He also has some insane ankle tilts that let him hold some serious poses comfortably.

Image
He's also one of the few bots I've gotten to pull off a convincing crouching pose.

Transformation:
Image
His transformation is similar to DotM Roadbuster/AoE Lockdown, but it is unique and is its own thing. There are some cues, but things end up in pretty different places. For one thing: the head is hidden and not visible anywhere, and it ends up right behind the alt mode thruster! It is inside right behind the thruster, and the thruster ends up inside the robot mode chest.

Image
You can see in this shot that things come together pretty well, with the arms on the inside and underneath while the feet actually end up as part of the rear thruster set.

Image
A cool feature is that his doors open in the exact area and motion that they do on the actual ride. Those are the exact shapes and motion, which is really cool!

Image
To go with that, he has molded in seats from the ride! Yeah, he has 4 instead of 12, but it's still really cool!

Image
The car has some awesome paint and it looks good. The colors really work in both modes, making me very happy paint wise. if you look close where the fog light is below the headlight on the left side right in front of the wheel, you can see one of the waist guns (which can untab and be held as hand weapons, but I haven't tried it yet)

Image
Finally, a look at the back. The feet and the neck area make great thrusters and completes the look.

Overall, a great guy I am glad to have gotten. He is exclusive, cool, unique, and he will be a memory of the great trip that I had

Mostly movie, mainline based (ish). General movie figures weren't bad, but I much prefer the simpler looking things - though not necessarily sacrificing the transformation - that Combiner Wars onwards brings us (via PCC, never forget).

Lockdown, Skystalker, Lugnut, Seaspray, pretty much all Scouts, some very good things in there, but the cast figures - nah. No longer my cup of hot water with dead leaves in it.

$30 for a deluxe  Yeah, I've never been a fan of the movie figure's aesthetics. Transformation for most are tops though ;)^

Evac looks fun and I've considered getting one off the secondary market a few times. I decided only if I was at the park. Seems more authentic that way

$30 for a deluxe  Yeah, I've never been a fan of the movie figure's aesthetics. Transformation for most are tops though ;)^

Evac looks fun and I've considered getting one off the secondary market a few times. I decided only if I was at the park. Seems more authentic that way

song aimed strictly at my last statement

When you think about it, it isn't terrible considering it is an exclusive mold to a theme park whereas for the club they would sell deluxes for what, $60 to $80 and they were usually repaints or had a new head. That's the way I think about it :D

And yeah, I wanted to get him at the park, made the figure a little bit more sweet and added that authenticity
I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please!

I can get behind that, for sure. Makes it feel like a memorable purchase, rather than a thing you can just get anywhere. -nods-
