Very nice! That is a great looking team.

got these 2 in the mail today, I'm expecting the deluxes and leaders soon. It will be nice to get them 2 at a time.

Megatron is wow, fantastic. He was the first package I opened, and thus is my first action figure/Tf of the year and decade, fitting for the design. The paint work is absolutely stunning, and I love the mace weapon. Jet mode is really swish too, he is faultless.

Mixmaster is a really cool 5th member of my Devastator team. The alt mode is solid, I enjoy the transformation, and the robot mode is really lanky and cool. I enjoy the colors too. And that Devastastor head is mean looking!

Also got Iron Patriot and Valkyrie. Valk is my 3rd Marvel Legends Lasse, and she is really cool, I think my favorite of the 3 gals I have gotten so far. Her weapon kinda sucks, but otherwise she overall is great. She, Shuri, and Rescue are all enjoyable.

Iron Patriot is really big and an extensive retool of War Machine. the plastic feels a bit funny, but he is armed up to the teeth, and the paint work is quite interesting and cool. I can't wait to get the Iron Man and Nebula from endgame to go with him. The Marvel Legends collection is shaping up nicely! I just still need to secure vision to make Lebowski Thor.

Speaking of BAF, I am eager to see the 2nd Cyberverse wave, I want to finish Maccadam

Took a picture of both Megs and Mix last night. I really love these 2 figures. Megatron is one of the best looking figures I've seen, and probably the best looking one paint wise since SS Grimlock.

also took some pictures of the new Marvel folks. Valkyrie is really well detailed, and Iron Patriot is becoming one of my top favorites. He is also one of if not the most heavily armed figure I now own in any collection.

Thanks! Yes, most are in the living room, and a few things are in the Bedroom.

That shelf is my Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 display. It was a really cool show I greatly enjoyed in high school. the one you think is the batmobile is the Reverb. and the big one is their command center, the Mobius Command Center.

I'll link my favorite episode below. At least listen to the theme music, it's fun!

also, Soundwave is really cool, I love that Bee movie one!

That theme was something, I dug when dude pulled out the guitar and started thrashing it.

Reminds me of something my little brother-in-law said to me years ago. He had some toy and I asked him what it was and his response is still quoted in our house to this day - "you know, beyblades!" We all live in our own little world, but young people's worlds are much smaller, so he just assumed I knew what he was talking about. To this day I still have no **** clue! Based on your profile, he's a year older than you.

I really have lost touch with anything and everything outside of my wheelhouse, guess that's how you know you're getting old. :( :-( Well at least I haven't stopped playing yet... 8-)

EDIT 2: this is in no way some ageist ****, I don't go for all that - it's just an observation, hopefully humorous ;)^

EDIT: The cars look really cool and the big one reminds me of this:

Sort of, it's actually a "fusion" in season 2: the vehicles are fused into a hybrid that is the best of both.

here, watch this theme song and then go to 17:10

Also, you wanted some thoughts on the Hot of Rod.

So the WWII Bee mold is kinda good. It is not the best, but it is still a fun mold to me. And then here comes Hot Rod. For one thing, this mold owns the colors. These are some good colors. And then the retooling makes it different enough that it feels like a bit of a different experience.

But the best part is what happens when both are together. These 2 together make each other better, and they make an awesome team. This is the WWII Nazi Hunters team that I was excited for, and they make a great team. They are worth it together.

WWII alts and designs are awesome

And then there is this Bee. This one is very important to me, as just like Megatron, this is one of my first ever Transformers. the 2007 deluxe was my 2nd ever Transformer, and my first ever Autobot, so getting this update is pretty awesome, much like the voyager Megatron.

This is a good figure too, the updates and retools make for a great looking robot mode, and the alt mode is gorgeous taste of 2007. i really like how the chest comes together, and the adjustable wings are a great touch. This is a good figure, and you will see more of him and Megs soon

After the two cars fused, they kind of reminded me of M.A.S.K. with all the flip out weapons and such.

You said something to this effect on another thread and I thought it was bullshit. That is until I saw this pic.

D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Image
Now I get it. They are like a couple soldiers, very similar in build and layout, but each with it's own personality. I'll need to keep an eye out for Hot Rod.

I keep saying it, but more I see this guy, the more I like him. I don't normally go for fake parts, but I really like how Bee has been handling it lately, with this guy really turning it up. Using the outside of the actual car makes it all ok for me. I know it's not realistic in plastic, but wouldn't it be cool if the wheel wings could fold down? I love how the door wings angle up like an angry wasp bee.

All the flip out weapons are fantastic. Skyknife (Saber and Chopper (yellow) fusion) is my favorite, that thing is really cool.

I like the Bee/Rod mold, and i love SS so my opinion might be a bit slanted, but they are really cool, and they work so well together as a team. I have no regrets about getting both and taking them on adventures together. They are cool together, in the ways you said in addition.

And I do like the way the fake chests have worked: part real, part fake to get the proper look. They have Bee down, and I am enjoying it

Nebula finally has her Endgame head, thanks to Counterpunch! I got her on Monday, but took some time to get her new head on snug, since the head came in a later wave to give her the alternate endgame head. So now my Iron Crew finally has its final member. I loved her character in the movies too, wasn't too hot in Guardians, but the 2 Avengers films really helped her stand out to me. She became one of my favorites thanks to those movies.

Also had the Lebowski Thor torso and Stormbreaker arrive today. Now he's just waiting on his left leg and arm from the final Marvel Legends I'm waiting on from amazon.

I've been playing around with Megatron more too. This toy is so gorgeous. They nailed it. nailed. it. I love this figure so much

Slowly but surely, the new Studio Wave is coming to my hands. Now just waiting on the Leaders. also, with Stinger from our own Ironhidensh, I now have a version of all the SS molds in some form. I also got the Far From Home Spider Man, and he is really cool! Loved that movie.

Image

I also want to take a minute to say that this wave has been very varied in terms of figures and movies they came from, and they each have some very good higlights:

Bumblebee - This is a spot on pocket MP update to the 2007 Bumblebee and is a great all around toy serving as a fantastic update with some new stuff to make it interesting.

Hot Rod - Makes WWII Bee better and they form a great pair. One of those figures that is good alone but as a team is really good. He is the team player

Arcees - This is a nice little 3-pack of Legion figures, and they are surprisingly intricate and painted for the price point. I like the little set, it's a bonus pack sort of thing, and one that is nice, especially since I finally have a toy of all 3 of them (I didn't have any previously)

Soundwave - This is the toy that is both fantastically painted and also just chonky. He chonkin'. This toy has presence, and I love it for that. This is the muscular Soundwave I was hoping for, he feels great in hand.

Mixmaster - This guy is the freak so far, and he owns the slenderman long-armed monster humanoid with some good paint work. I really enjoy this freakshow

Megatron - This, like Bee, is both a fantastic update but also a nostalgia train, not to mention well painted and filled out and muscular. This toy is basically all of the above toys comments combined into one.

Now to wait on the Leaders! I am super stoked for Scavenger. i am ready for him!

Got this guy today, and holy cow is he really nice! Heimdall is a favorite of mine from Ragnarok, and one of deaths that hit me hard in the Infinity War/Endgame run. This is the perfect look for him, he is really good.

I now only await Iron Man to finish Lebowski Thor, and ironically I have been getting the Legends figures in reverse order as to how badly I wanted them.

Image

Also got some group Shots, first of the Asgardians, then the Ragnarok crew, and finally, the updated Iron Crew!

Feel The Sting.

I didn't get this figure initially, I heard it was fiddly, and I wasn't really interested. But then he was the only mold I didn't have in SS in any form, and i wanted him to get the AOE cast together with a good figure. And he is really fun, I love his robot mode, the transformation is pretty explosive and fun, and the alt mode is slick.

Ya know, I am shocked that we have gone 2 years now and they never reshelled this to make AOE Bumblebee. But then again, they have been good with gaps between retools. Took a full year to get WWII Hot Rod from Bumblebee

Thank you again Densh!

These leaders are gorgeous! Scavenger has a special place in my heart as my first RotF figure (Demolishor) and he has always had a design I loved, and only this figure used it. It's great. and Shockwave is superbly painted.

Also took these guys to work today. Rung is still awesome just to have, and Bluestreak is the best looking version of this mold. Feels great to finally have a Bluestreak too. also kinda fun to give Bluestreak a god gun
