Also, I still love this deluxe class figure. Sure, it isn't movie accurate at all, but it's fun as an IDW/TLK crossover figure. The head is also really nice, as are the colors!

None of that is custom, it's all official!

Also, picked some stuff up from Target on the last day of the sales. Cyberverse turned out to be a much bigger deal than I thought it would be, so some important characters needed toys got, no matter the quality!

Image

With that, I now have the con half of the Resistance!
Image

And the irony of getting Repugnus while wearing a Repugnus!

Megabomber Stealthatron is a cool mold and I adore the IDW deco Megs (kinda wish I had the Tak deco). I like the design so much, I'm considering the 3P version.

I kept going back to TRU when they were closing hoping to grab a copy of the TLK deco on the cheap, but they were all gone by the time the real deals started.

Quite a few stores had minimum discounts, but my understanding was that our TRU was considered a "metro hub" and merchandise from the surrounding stores got shipped there (or so I'm to understand or maybe just assumed). It wasn't until the last days we saw any decent discounts and by that time the shelves were all dried up and most of the store was roped off. Before then TF's were marked down 10% and that just put them on par with Walmart and Target

The last thing I got from TRU was SS Thundercracker and I think it was at 10% off.

It's the first time I got both together, I was surprised at the size difference too.

I'm not sure what the will be doing in the new apartment. I'm debating bot/con battle scenes, organization by factions and shows, or something else.

Taller and beefier - who know? I'm starting to feel I may have to follow suit and pull that full priced trigger on OS.

Oof, moving is the worst. My collection has grown ten fold since the last time we moved. I'll sell most of it if we move again. Good luck to you D.

Honest, fully honest, Omega is the best City titan we have gotten, hands down. He is worth it.

And yeah, moving really sucks! Thank you buddy

So with the move, I've gotten to mess with all my bots, and I've gotten the chance to spotlight a few. I'd like to share some today

First up, RiD Crash Combiners. They are shite, but I still actually like them

Image

Also, the Team combiners really weren't that bad either. Ultra Bee got packed up before I thought to take a group shot, but these 2 will do. I like the 2 very different styles they went with, bulky and lanky

Image

Beast hunters wheeljack, still one of the best Prime toys

Image

Best Legion figure? Best Legion figure.

Image

Loud Planet Formers!

Image

Best Beast mode? He's right up there for the best! If I ever wrote a Transformers story, Jawbreaker would be in it. He needs fiction

Image

Darkscream: I need to get Gaskunk and Slapper to complete the RiD2001 Preds. I still enjoyed finding him in the mall one day not long after I moved here

Image

Team Nexus Prime!

Image
Image
Image

Still one of the absolutely most unique figures ever made

Image

Fan vote bot: I still have no regrets over my votes, which almost all went into her

Image

Big Convoy! I cannot wait to get the new Matrix Buster one, That huge cannon is so cool

Image

Oilmaster! My favorite Pretender, and one of the reasons I got that Botcon set when it went to 80% off. Fate was in my favor

Image

Badass. that is all

Image

He's ready to meet his update

Image

I cannot decide which of these is my favorite design

Image

the other Sky Lynx. Love the beast mode

Image
Image
Image
Image

And finally, the King of the Beasts

That is the original Beast hunters voyager Predaking! he's got a few issues, but he's still pretty cool.

On the Predaking note, I have a 2nd one coming, who will serve as my last Transformer delivered to my current apartment. and this one is much bigger.

Also, Repugnus is adorable

Hey D, I know the headache of moving a collection. It is nice to see all the photos of your collection as they get packed. It kind of brings you back to when you bought a particular bot or con and how you felt after buying it. Hoping the best to you on the move! Looking forward to seeing their new home all set up!

The utilities are set up, and we are only 5 days from moving. Got what might end up being the final round of individual spotlights sans deskbots right here for you!

I don't get the hate this guy got, he was the best PotP Leader figure, and I thorough enjoy him

Image

I paid more than I wanted to for him, but i enjoy him, and I love the Titan Master gimmick making it to Studio Series. Also, I prefer the TLK to SS one

Image

My G1 Seacon is awaiting his update!

Image

I love this guy even if everyone else throws a holy fit over him

Image

Best Jetfire, period

Image

With the coronavirus stuff, I have been shifted to night shift, my office splitting us up to reduce interactions. which sucks cause it's now Sunday through Thursday nights, but it happens. Makes things more difficult.

But on the plus side, slash and Hound seemed to enjoy themselves

I thought the EVO RoddyP and Prime were really cool figures and concepts. I find them both to be a lot of fun. I have the nemesis version of each. I've recently been considering tracking done Rodimus Prime.

I agree on Jetfire, but Siege is a close second. I'd put Siege in the top slot if he was the same height as the T30 figure.

I was wondering why your posting habits have changed. How late is the night shift anyway? I used to enjoy the night shifts when I was much younger and could handle it. So much more quiet and still.

Roddy Prime himself isn't too bad either. Unicronus is the better, but the regular Rod colors are still pretty fun too

Siege is a dang good figure, but to me, T30 is the best and will remain as such. I love his robot and jet modes so much.

Last night was my first night for it. The scattered posting lately has been due to the move and packing, it's been a chaotic last few weeks.

I hate night shift, I am productive in the morning, less so as the day goes on

I agree, T30's alt mode is the best. I also feel it's one of the sleekest modern jetformers we've gotten. It's a little ugly from the underside, but my imagination coats right over all that. Siege is not exactly a looker from the underside either. Also that T30 gerwalk mode is tops. And I really like his robot mode... you know what, Siege is second no matter what. Siege Jetfire is a really great figure though and since he lives with the MPs I don't have to choose 8-)

I think that NemmyP pulls off the EVO gimmick the best of two (don't have Optimal). Mostly due his consistent deco and extra goodies. The retooled heads are great as well. Of the two he's my fav. I do love that evil space winnie though

I'm a bit of a night owl and I don't require much sleep, so either shift works for me. Well used to when I was young and single and not spoiled by my current schedule.

Strafe came with me to work last night, and I have to say, I feel I have not given him the credit he is due. He is a really good deluxe figure, with some spectacular paint work, and also the wingspan in awesome. He's just fun!

and I would strongly argue that he is a far better design than the G1 Swoop
