That is Jeff the Landshark, coming from the Deadpool comics! I didn't know he existed until a couple months ago, he is adorable.

Got some new arrivals today



Ahsoka is really nice, I love the sculpt, she's super good. And rotorstorm is loud and super awesome. Love this guy. Only 2 Wrookies to go!



So some thoughts on some figures with some pictures.

Soundwave really isn't too bad. Is he simple and underpainted? sure. But he's still not bad, I like his satellite mode. It's how I'm going to display him



Up next is Topspin. This is one figure where I feel like the SS figure is good, but the OG was better. I really like the DotM deluxe, and this one doesn't quite live up to it. But I am super happy with the sculpt (even if more yellow was needed) and I love having a field of Wreckers






And finally, have a shot of my newly completed movie shelves, one of which basically has all my SS figures together with part of the cast awaiting updates, as a full 6-movie panoramic

All I can say is...

finally completed my Den overhaul today. New large shelf, and a lot of re-jiggering, and we have the Den proudly back together again!

Got some weird and fun new stuff in



I'll start with the Iron Man. This is a pretty nifty BeastBox. i really like the armor mode, the multitude of accessories is really neat. I like that he basically ends up with 3 different types of weapon configurations. I like the back wings on it too, though I do wish they were higher on the back. The transformation is fiddly, and while the box mode is pretty neat, it's hard to keep together. So the armor mode is where it will stay, and that mode is really awesome






Up next is the sub. this is what it is, though i ordered elsewhere. It's based on a real deep water sub, and deep water exploration is something that I really love. The water is my element. This thing is so awesome, it's such a cool mecha with some awesome features. It has a light in the cockpit to light up the viewports in the dark, and it fits diaclone pilots. It's so rugged feeling, it feels tough. And it's a breeze to transform and enjoyable in both modes, complete with articulated arms in the front of the sub!







For fun, since I got my 2nd Beast Box, I brought the other one down for some pictures






On the subject of Diaclone and mecha, how about some more Tridasher?









It's crazy that this is actually a canon final showdown

Well, here are some thoughts.

alt mode is shite, that we all knew. And you can't really do much with it since it's springloaded to transform.

But the springloaded transformation is really fun, I like how inserting the sword and then removing it triggers the transformation. It's great, very enjoyable.

robot mode isn't overly posable, legs are basially a wash due to the gimmick, though the arms are still fully posable. No head movement, as is the norm, but the detailing on this cyberverse figure is quite impressive. I really like how imposing the robot mode is. The shield is a little awkward since the tab is on the underside instead of side of the arm, but it still works. The armor looks pretty nice too, I'm tempted to do a little touchup work on it, it matches his armored headcrest nicely.

Overall, it's a nice piece. I enjoy it. I hope we get a good Titan sized figure of this War Titan some day

More fun with the sub and the Iron Box

First up, recent haul:



Dion is made from Universe Hot Shot. mold isn't that good, but i still enjoy him, especially with the boxing gloves



Next up, let's dive into some Alternity shall we? 9/16 down, and Black Convoy is my favorite of the bunch












Got this guy (and the rest of the above haul) from a buddy in a group chat, and boy is this nice. This perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the original Lio Convoy as a truck, prior to his lion mode. i love it, and I'm glad I finally got the mold.







Speaking of newly completed teams, Leadfoot is a really solid deluxe figure. I really enjoy this guy, there really isn't anything bad about him







Some photos of Hubcap. He's a good mold, but for some reason having him in hand, he's not as good as Cliffjumper, doesn't have the same bounce. Again like the mold, but the rest of the package isn't as exciting as it should've been for me




also for fun, here are the 3 G2 Megatron paint schemes, complete thanks to Selects






OK so the drone set. Pretty decent set, and a great idea, about time we got a weapons back. But like I said earlier, I had to shave down almost every single peg to get them to go into hands. But things turned out pretty nice in terms of pieces going to characters. Only other thing that is odd is the rifle for Prime: it is far too big, it feels leader sized. It didn't look right on the voyager, so I left it with Roller.

I've heard a lot about her troubles, she will be treated nicely! She is going to go great with Artfire.

Ya know, I thought Athena would be a headache to transform when she had 107 steps in transforming, but like 3/4 of the steps were not really steps. She's fairly nice, not quite MP quality, but she still feels nice. I love the shade of red they used, it's perfect




In other news, Trirambler is frikkin awesome



So while i haven't transformed him yet, Scorp is a really solid feeling toy. Gosh he is cool

My fiance, Frankie, and I played with the neighbor kids tonight. They played with the 3 bots below and had a ton of fun. Chase and Slash were particularly popular. It was a fun time'

Up next, some thoughts on Athena. She is pretty nice. Not really MP quality, but still really nice. Transformation isn't that bad, but can be a bit troublesome in spots. I'm not really a fan of the partsforming either, but it happens. Head is a bit tough, but it is functional. I need to break out Artfire to take pictures together.










And finally, Triramber is so so so good. This right here is a figure that eclipses almost all others this year. The mech is so solid, so posable, so fun! And so modular. This one will be played with for a good while

You say athena, I say Mineva though I'm a bit perturbed about how big they made little Minevas chest...seeing as she's a 10 year old girl and all in the Masterforce anime

Oh I see Minerva too, I just use the toy name. I gotta start using the actual name

I honestly didn't even notice, part of that is influenced by the ab crunch

These 2 are quite the pair, I love them as the Iron Man/War Machine duo for diaclone. I feel content with both of these 2, like I have experienced the best of the Diaclone line and don't really need anything more. I do plan to get Battle Convoy though, he will be their base.

Well this was unexpected. I was awaiting Mr. Snake, but Skipjack arrived from Target 3 days early, and I never even got the shipping notice for Silk and the stands. I'm a teensy bit annoyed though that I ordered Silk and the stands a day later than the pit of judgement and yet they arrived first. But oh well, excited for all of these
