5$ for a novelty at a con is fine. But 32$ is nonsensical. You are better off waiting for the chance that reprolabels makes a comparable set which will cost half that and be way better. And in any case, that sticker set is still available in the club store, you just have to buy the 2 toys it comes with. Not that you would but all of it will be sold eventually and those who dont want the sticker sheet will sell it on e-bay and the supply will make up for the demand and the price will be lower. With club exclusives, its always mot expensive right after the convention. Wait a year and get it for 10$.

Does anyone else think that Reprolabels will make a much better set, and maybe even Renderform will make a new proper head for this Magnaboss Botcon nonsense?

RiD Wave 1 2016 Legion class case.

Funnier yet is that I never got a shipping notification and they are showing that my package still hasn't shipped and it is processing. And said package isn't supposed to even ship until the middle of the month. To me, it sounds like they saw my info and sent a wrong package when the real one isn't even there and ready to ship yet. We'll see what they say...

Just heard back from them. They never had Victorion. They mislabeled the listing for the RiD legion case as Victorion. They offered to let me keep it at a reduced rate or return it. Honestly, I see no need to keep them as I didn't want any of them. If you guys would like some or all of them (2 Drift, 2 Clampdown, 2 Thunderhoof, 1 Windblade, 1 Strongarm) let me know. If not, I'll be returning this in the next 2 days

Am I the only one here that prefers Hot Spot with a black head? If I get CW HS, I'm 95.8 percent sure that I am going to paint the head black.

I forgot the CW had a blue head until all the talk over the Grapple/Inferno mold. It bugged the **** out of me when I first got him. Now I want to go try and paint the CW version's head.

Yeah I hoped that the Takara one would have him with a black head... then again, I'd probably never be able to get in anyhow.

One of my summer jobs is that I go around to area schools and teach science experiments all day. Because I am an engineering/Chemistry dual major, I was given the go ahead to revamp our Simple machines experiment since it was boring and they have never had an engineer. I was trying to get some ideas for experiments, but I got some now though.

If it means anything, other summer jobs this year include research, camp mentor and bartender

So random - how about something that involves small electric motors/generators. Using something that spins the motor and lights a small LED. A simple way to illustrate the conservation of energy.

Like a a big crank to spin a geared system to spin the generator.

A fun build and something that people don't think of. Normally an energy source spins the motor not the other way around.

Pendulum. Put the kids in teams and provide them with whatever length string, a weight (like a heavy washer), paper clip, tell them to attach it anywhere in the classroom (desk, chair, etc) and see who's swings the longest (hint, it's the one who attaches the 8 feet of string to the ceiling).
