I am shedding tears in hope that the Computron box set comes out. Man I LOVE Computron. Does anyone think that these Perfect Effect kits are good enough to get?

Personally, I think they're worth it!

I am however really wanting both G2 Superion and his upgrade, AND the CW Cyclonus too. I generally hate getting multiples of the same molds but this mold just looks too awesome in all of these characters. ESPECIALLY with the upgrades that differentiate them pretty well in combined modes. Just something I've had on my mind for a while. Also, bonus John Cena/Seib Civil War joke.

Absolutely. I've got 4 sets and counting with plans to still buy more. The hands/feet sets really give them a premium look that makes them blend in with 3P combiners quite well.

I'm practically drooling over the idea of UW Bruticus upgraded with both PE sets, and G2 Superion's set. Computron is a different story though. I have Quantron, which I think will remain my Compy representation on my combiner display. But I bet the PE's Compy sets will go a long way to making him look better. We already know for sure that his head is still Superion's (right?), so the head upgrade is worth it all on it's own IMO.

I love Computron as a character, and would be so happy with this official box set with the PE upgrades and new head. The new hands and feet that PE has come out with look much better than the first PE upgrade sets with the noodle fingers.

I will not be getting those upgrade kits. they look nice, but I am perfectly ok with the design so far and they will be combined almost all the time anyway, and the combined mode so far is awesome, so I won't get them.

Plus, I have yet to do 3rd party stuff and I don't plan on it anytime soon

Good to hear. I've heard mostly positive. I've got Bruts and the black set sitting in my stack. I'm ok with the stock hands, but as feet, they're just too small.

The body kits look nice too. Jaki, got any of the body kits?

Ah, I disagree. i really like the Superion head, and if colored right it will work for Comp. Plus, I don't need ankle articulation, and it appears that if Comp does come with individual hands and feet, he will actually have ankle tilts like Victorion

What I have so far:
-White set for Supes
-Black set for Deffy
-Purple set and chest piece for MoMa

I'll likely be getting the (blue) Op set for the UW release, and I'm debating whether or not I need the white Op set. I probably will cause I'll be using the Sky Reign limbs on him.

The additional set (chest piece) for Supes looks pretty good on the G2 version, it's making me consider buying it for my UW but I wonder if the whites would match....

Victorion has tilts? And I was referring to the Combiner Wars Computron head that's a direct repaint of Superion's head. Sure, the head-sculpt is great, but Computron has a mouth.

Cool! The only part I don't like about Computron now are the hands. Even the original Combiner Wars hands had some opening hand articulation. I with I could just get the PE hands and not the feet but OH WELL. >:oP
