It's your sig pic, dude! There's no WAY I'll pass him up. Or Hardhead. Or the other Headmasters from Transformers: Headmasters.Cobotron wrote:Gator done, Cram!

It was a very enjoyable vacation. Some fishing, some tubing, bike riding, all the good stuff. Even managed to catch a silver bass and I had a muskie almost take my bait (bugger followed it and even bit it, but not near the hook)
Rewind now: I would say he is a top 5 triple changer for the toys that I have. Now mind you I've not collected and handled nearly as many as you have, so bear with me. His device mode is very much fun and I love that there is a headphone slot. I actually was going to take him with me to work this morning and pretend to be listening to musicAnd the tank mode is not bad either. I mean yeah it is simple and just a teensy bit goofy looking, but it honestly isn't bad. And then the robot mode, aside from some very bulky under-arm kibble, is really good. He is pretty stable, looks good, minimal kibble, and his head is awesome. I love that they did add the camera to his noggin.
So yes, I'd say he's worthy, mainly due to lack of other triple changers to go by. But if you're asking, of the ones I do have my top 5 would look like this:
5) Thrilling 30 Whirl
4) Thrilling 30 Blitzwing
3) Titans Return Rewind
2) Thrilling 30 Sandstorm
1) Thrilling 30 Springer

A MUSKIE! Doesnt matter if he didnt bite, thats still cool. I assume you were on a boat then right? When I fished, it was from the shore so I could never see the fish. And I never caught a muskie, caught a few pickes using Berkley walker lures though. Good job on catching that silver bass, how did you cook it after?

So yes, you do lack triple changers, especially if Whirl and Blitzwing end up thereBut jokes aside, I asked because I actually realized how little triple changers with actually 3 different modes there are.
Number one is clearly Sandstorm/Springer (I tie them), and there are some good G1 ones (believe it or not, G1 Blitzwing's alt modes look way better than Thrilling 30's). But aside from that its slim pickings. And I hate how nerdy it can get. Like how technically Tidal wave isnt a triple changer but a three way duocon. And how while G1 Perceptor's official third mode sucks balls but he has an awesome extra mode in his diaclone instructions where he turns into a nice tank, but then that doesnt count because a) its only his diaclone release that advertizes it and b) that means he is a quad changer in diaclone even if one of the modeslooks like nothing:![]()
Mobile laboratory?
So yeah, I am looking to this line to remedy the lack of decent triple changers. In the end, I just meant to say that I look forward to getting this toy and if he is as good as you say, I will just use your words as part of his blurb. And It turns out you didnt miss much with triple changers and here is hoping TR gives us good ones

I totally agree. Of all the triple changers (leaders included), I think Alpha is the one who has the best shot. Cant wait to try him out.
A closet full of TF packaging that may be of use to your good friend itscramtastic you mean. Maybe. I like boxes.carytheone wrote:I'll repeat a post from earlier...
a little column A, a little column B
Collectors are a different breed all together. I personally just like collecting things, usually just to see how much of that thing I can get. I used to have a bucket of pull tabs from when I still drank soda pop.
It takes a lot of self control for me to not just keep everything. The Mrs and I have gotten into the habit of doing a yearly purge of old stuff. I have a closet full of TF packaging that needs my attention.
I'm the same way, mine are all in bins though. So. Many. Bins. Of the clear plastic variety.D-Maximus_Primal wrote:Except for the rare few, I have every Transformers box that I have bought. now the deluxes and lower, i only keep the card back and the little cardboard piece inside the over and nothing else. I package the voyager boxes inside one another and then inside the leader boxes, with the larger titan boxes then holding them all, and they all sit nicely on a shelf in the basement for now
