Sounds like a good buy! ;)^

I am not sure if I am going to get a CW gestalt at this point. UW Bruticus is tempting, and Victorion does interest me some. I just want something unique though. I think Computron might be a better choice. And plus, I really want the Afterburner mold.

You mean you'll have to scrounge around ebay for Nosecone?

Yeah, with a slight increase in phone bills, Disney the first week of January, and the potential that my girlfriend might be able to go and get a special one-of-a-kind surprise should she be able to, I need the money.

Plus, the CW one looks better as I get used to it, and I pre-ordered shattered glass Prime from TFsource this afternoon, and that's a bit more special

I still need a good and recent Optimus Prime with normal colors and yellow eyes. (Maybe If I can get Takara's Convoy and paint the eyes yellow that would work.) Suprisingly, the only Optimus Prime I have is Cybertron's deluxe of him which is a redeco of Armada deluxe Prime, and that thing is missing parts and is loose as heck. (It was defective. The sleeve pieces that are supposed to stay up on the arms just slide down. It was like that since I first got it, which was in like 2006-7.)

Just a couple old classics molds, nothing to get excited about. I'm a bit bummed that SGOP doesn't drop until December. I was hoping to see some dope pics from the Den sooner than later.

So do you dip into the SG universe often? I know the basics - bizzaro world. I know a few figures that I've seen like that SG Drift looked nice and so did a few other rando exclusive figs. Anything else from SG jump out at cha?

I have never jumped into the Shattered glass world, mainly because of the price of the figures going on ebay and I never felt that committed to jump, especially since they were all cybertron or older classics molds.

But this was a special case, considering it is very pricey but it is a Masterpiece, which I don't have one of yet, and it's shattered glass, which I also have nothing from but I love it and I have read all the stories summaries on the wiki. Plus, since it waits until December I can raise the money and set it aside for it.

As a side note, I'm still going to try to get Takara Nosecone on his own. It will be pricey, but I'm still going to try. there's only 1 on Ebay right now though and it's already $42 or so, so I'm still wondering a bit if it's worth it, but I'm confident that I can wait on Computron to drop to a price like Vicky just did

Good things come to those who wait, you'll get nosecone when the time is right. That's also where I'm at for Computron. If I see a good sale, I may jump. I've moved on from CW and I have no nostalgia for Comps. It'd be neat to have him (as I think he's an attractive gent) on my combiner shelf, but I can live with out the set. I'm trying out this patience waiting for sales WJ88 thing.

I'll leave these words of wisdom before I head to bed: Sometimes the wanting is better than the having.

This is very true. I feel if I wait, I can get Computron and Nosecone for the cost if not less than the cost of the Hasbro set initially, which would make everything worth it. Plus, I do like Comp, but I can afford to wait it out some.

Plus, I am trying to limit myself right now, get some financial stuff in order and get a bit of buildup. Because I won't be getting any wave 3 stuff until January, all I really need to focus on are the wave 2 deluxes and voyagers, plus 4 warriors from RiD for the next 4 months basically.

And while I was willing to wait on a MP Trailbreaker to be my first, shattered glass MP-10 is still an awesome substitute. He just might come in stock while I'm home for Christmas break or in Disney, depending on when in December, which worries me a bit.

I like to plan ahead.

Sorry to kinda pass you up there Silly.

I really don't have a "proper" prime yet, but I'll get there eventually. As is, Battle Core and, depending on that boxset rumor, Powermaster Prime in diaclone Magnus colors with Godbomber still works out

Yep, I gave in. your review and Ryan's gallery pushed me over the edge.

Still going to get Takara Cone though, somehow.

And Hopefully, SG Prime comes before December 10. Roadbuster can only stay in my stack that long and I don't want to have to ship him separately

You know what? After all this press and photos, I've come to terms with Hasputron. I'm still on the fence whether I'll get him at all, but I'm sure now that I will not go through the trouble and cost of getting Takputron. I will play this like I did with Vickypoo. I will wait to see if his price bottoms out.

BTW, I'm really really digging Vicky. More than I thought I would. ;)^

Victorion looks really good to me too. So does Leokaiser. I am kinda hoping though that Takara comes out with a UW Leokaiser with a retooled Scattorshot as the torso though instead of Skylynx. The original toy's torso bot was an actual humanoid bot that turned into a jet/space-ship. If Takara doesn't though, the Platinum/Combiner Wars Leo looks pretty awesome too.

Victorion is a heck of a lot of fun and I am so glad I got that figure.

Liokaiser has been put on my Christmas list. My girlfriend decided to take up that task, while Fort Max will be from family.

I am going to wait for Comps to bottom out, but I am stoked to get a Computron!
