zwann wrote:The problem i have with collecting Kreons compared to LEGOs is the quality.
One thing that LEGO never failed me is that the quality is always top notch. What see at the packaging, you're gonna get 98% accurate to it. Clean mold, sharp printing. Nice colors.
I've collected Micro Changers, some Kreo sets and combiners, but they rarely come out satisfying to me. Their tampograph, especially silver is very poorly aligned. My recent purchase Obsidian has quite an amount of misaligned printings. A micro changer I got Trailbreaker, which I liked because of the nice chest print I see in the packaging, well the print is horribly misaligned.
So far the very VERY best Kreon i got was Jalguar from Series 8 i think. That Kreon has nice colors, and super sharp printing. I could stare on it all day long.
I see Kreos are improving, now with actual transforming figures, and I'm glad. Hopefully they work out with this printing issue, especially their silver printing. I wanna enjoy collecting them.

I was never sure if I'd see these sets released in the US but with a commercial popping up on Hasbro's YouTube channel there may be some hope yet. Optimus Prime is a fun build but keep in mind that the Transformation may be a bit fiddly causing parts to pop off.
And, like Chuck said in his video, Canada... I've seen that wave on display at the nearest TRU for over a month.Noideaforaname wrote:RiddlerJ wrote:Whatever happened to the 6th wave of Kre-O? The one with Blackarachnia, Seaspray Gears. Did they show up anywhere?
Asia.
I've also seen a lot of these in the last month or two... people really need to start telling me when I'm walking past rare findschuckdawg1999 wrote:I'm really happy we'll be seeing these at mass retail. I was starting to think they were going to be canceled.
