The hammer's handle is short on Ultra Magnus' toy.

Which seem like an odd thing for you to say since neither of your other comparisons, Sentinel Prime = Captain America and Ultra Magnus = Thor , really share any color scheme apps with each other.
Aside from haveing the color blue.

Thors Hammer may control electricity but it does not generate or shoot it.
While High Fathers big staff does.

I dont know anyone that credits Hal as the original GL but many do say he's their fav.
And the original GL had a Red shirt with Green pants and a cape that was Green on the inside.
To put it short the original GL had more "Green" in his costume then red.

My guess is then that you need to bone up on the "Thor" myth.
The design of the handle and how it became short is part of the myth.

Well, lets see, if he was based on GREEN arrow then he would be wearing GREEN. So I guess we are talking about that.

None of the characters you listed have a color scheme match.
Again were talking about weather the characters personalty will be based on Green Arrow....his color scheme is irrelevant.

Actually your disputing it.
I mentioned the possibility that they may be useing GA as a template for his personality and you went on from there.

Nonsense.
Most comic people will say that either Wally West or Barry Allen is their fav Flash and neither is the original.
Most comic fans would say that their fav Robin is Tim Drake. And he's the 3rd Robin not the first, as I'm sure you know![]()

There's no way in hell that a comic book owner isint aware of the Golden Age heroes.
Saber Prime wrote: My dad who was probly reading comics before Green Lanturn was created didn't even know about the guy.
You keep siteing ignorance as an excuse.
Your father must not have been reading DC comic then.
The Golden Age heroes were heavily used durring the 60 till the mid 80 is a serries of Earth 1/Earth 2 cross over stories not to mention all the short back up stories in other titles.
So if your father read any Justice League, Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern or Wonderwoman comics on a regular bases "THERES NO WAY IN HELL" he didnt see the original Green Lantern or the other Golden Age characters at least once.
Onless your father forgot about him.
Saber Prime wrote: We actully had to look him up online to find out who he was. That's 3 different people right there who are all huge comic book geeks and non of them knew there was a Green Lantern before Hal Jordan.
Ignorance all around.
And in case I didnt say it.....a true "HUGE Comic geek" would know the history of the Golden Age of comics.
He knows which heroes were in the Golden Age and which were replaced in the Silver Age.
As a matter of fact it was Hal [Green Lantern] and Barry [The Flash] that gace birth to the Silver Age of comics.
Any true comic geek knows the history of comics.
So none of you were true geeks at the time.
Saber Prime wrote:Again, there is more than one version of the myth, thus one version has no bareing on the rest, therefore his handle can be any damn lingth the designer wants it to be.![]()
In all my years of research I havent come across a version of the myth where the handle wasnt shortened by Loki in a fit of jealousy before it was given to Thor.
But I can admit its slightly possible that one exists.

You said nothing about appearances, you said nothing about how the characters look, were designed, are colored or anything that would imply that you were only talking about his outer appearance.
You only went into appearance after I brought up the possibility that they could be useing Green Arrow as a template instead of Hawkeye.
So if anyone is intended on driveing this conversation in circles its you because instead of asking for my reasoning for what I stated you instead leaped into this appearance debate and an argument on how he should be Green if they were basing him on Green Arrow.
Which makes no sence at all.
there's just no reason in hell why Rodimus would be colored to look like any character they might be baseing him on.
