And Thors hammer is small handled and does not shoot electricity.

And We're talking the shows character appearance and not the toys since there's very little in the toys actual appearance that would link UM to Thor..

It is quite similar to her Beast Machines' namesake's vehicle mode, except that it seems to be a LOT bulkier and more heavily-armored. Not to mention the wheels look twice as large too.

Back on subject, Rodimus Prime can't be Green Arrow because that would require him to have at least some GREEN in his color scheme. Allthough I wouldn't be at all suprised if Hasbro made a green repaint of his mold.

And so far every one you linked I have a hard time agreeing with.

My dad who was probly reading comics before Green Lanturn was created didn't even know about the guy. We actully had to look him up online to find out who he was. That's 3 different people right there who are all huge comic book geeks and non of them knew there was a Green Lantern before Hal Jordan.

Dick Grayson, the original Robin, was not capable of sustaining a loyal readership of his own sol serries in the 40 years he was Robin.His books kept getting canceled.

Jason Todd, the second Robin, was killed by a "FAN POLL" with a 1-900 phone number system.

But Tim Drake , the 3rd Robin, has been consistency had his sol serries as one of DC's top selling comics for just about over 15 years now.

And in comic book terms that Makes him the most popular Robin ever.

Most comic fans would say that Wolverine is their "fave X-man" or that Captain America is their fave Avenger when neither were original members of those teams.

I learned about the Golden Age Green Lantern and the other versions of characters like Flash,Hawkman,ext when I was 6 years old in 1977.

The owner of the freaking store it was in didn't even know what it was.

So if your father read any Justice League, Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern or Wonderwoman comics on a regular bases "THERES NO WAY IN HELL" he didnt see the original Green Lantern or the other Golden Age characters at least once.

Forgetting is verry probable. His memory hasn't really been too great sence the car accident in '95.

I wasn't bent on argueing. As I exsplained abouve I never even entered that conversation about their personalitys. I was ignoreing it completly. You're the one who keeps bringing it up. And I'm going to continue to keep ignoreing the subject for two reasons.

1. I see no resembalance personality wise to any of the Transformers and a super hero. I've mentioned this in a previous conversation I belive and I'd rather not start that over again.

2. We don't even know what Rodimus' personality is so there's really nothing I can add to that that hasn't allready been said at least till we see him in the show.

A comic book shop owner not knowing about the Golden age heroes or that Hal wasnt the original GL would be like a Sports memorabilia store owner never hearing of Base Ball.

Or an Americal History buff never hearing about Pearl Harber.

Hal Jordan as the New GL, along with Barry Allen as the New Flash, were the start of a new era in comic book stories.It was the start of the Silver Age.

Every comic book store owner is always on the look out for those books that both first appeared.Theres just no way that a Comic shop owner wouldnt know their historical significance and that Hal was not the original GL.

Before Hal and Barry were introduced comic books were pretty much dead as a medium.They helped to being the medium back to life.

I thought I told you this before but I had a major prefrence to the heroes of "Earth 2 when I was growing up.

And Earth 2 is where the original GL and Flash lived.

Its where Batman was killed saving Gotham,where his daughter Helena was the Huntress.Robin had grown up.

Eart 2 was where my fav magical superhero ,Doctor Fate, was from [there wasnt a DR,Fate in the main universe back then]

Earth 2 was where Superman had finally married Lois and was running the Daily Star [thats what the news paper was original called].

I could go on and on but the very first time I saw the Golden Age Flash and Green Lantern I wanted to learn every thing about them.

The Golden age GL was "LEFT HANDED" like I was,The Golden Age Flash wore a helmet like Mercury of the Greek Gods.

Earth 2 heros seemed more real to me.They had grown old,had families,the Golden Age Hourman had developed a heart condistion from all the years of taking the chemicals that gave him his powers.

Those were eliments that you didnt see in the mainstream earth [Earth 1] characters.

The Earth 1 characters remained forever young,healthy and always right.

Clark Kent wasnt even working at a new paper regularly anymore then....he was working for a TV news station most of the time.

So to answer your question....yes I remember the original GL's and Flash's name and history quite well.

And by the way.....all of that was from memory.

Barry and Hal are the start of the Silver age, its how the entire comic book industry categorizes the medium.

If they were as "Big comic geeks" as you call them they would have had to know what brought an end to the Golden Age and what speared headed the Silver Age.

And that was the introduction of the 2nd Flash and Green Lantern.

So even if they didnt recognize Jay Garrick and Allen Scott on appearance they would have known that Barry and Hal were not the original Flash and Green Lantern.

You said nothing about appearances, you said nothing about how the characters look,were designed,are colored or anything that would imply that you were only talking about his outer appearance.

You only went into appearance after I brought up the possibility that they could be useing Green Arrow as a template instead of Hawkeye.

So if anyone is intended on driveing this conversation in circles its you because instead of asking for my reasoning for what I stated you instead leaped into this appearance debate and an argument on how he should be Green if they were basing him on Green Arrow.

Back on subject, Rodimus Prime can't be Green Arrow because that would require him to have at least some GREEN in his color scheme. Allthough I wouldn't be at all suprised if Hasbro made a green repaint of his mold.

Because non of the characters so far have had ANY simular personality traits with their hero counterparts. So if they were baseing him on the Green Arrow it would be in his APPEARANCE not his personality. Hence he would be wearing GREEN as the GREEN Arrow.
