What does that have to do with it?
Because you said the Star Saber isn't forged from energon. that's true, but it also doesn't matter because the Forge can make anything, so the material the Sabers are made out of makes no difference
I only brought that up because Sabrblade pointed out the connection between the Dark Star Saber being named such partly because it was made out of Dark Energon. Sure, "Dark" also means "evil", "corrupted", "negative", etc. in this case, but calling it the Dark Star Saber because it's made of Dark Energon when we don't know that the regular Star Saber is made of regular Energon is a bit of a failed parallel. I just want a better name, honestly.

Are you suggesting they obtain the Forge of Solus Prime and attempt to create a new Star Saber?

Kids growing up with this now... sheesh. I hope they feel lucky to have people who are apparently fans actually handling the franchise. I genuinely feel like they do. And even as a kid I could sense when the cartoons/comics/movies were handled by hacks who just cashing a check to toy advertisements.
Cheers

Or maybe they'll go for "realistic" animal modes, like they did for the initial season of Beast Wars.![]()
Although triple changers ala the Horrorcons would be an interesting addition to the series.

I only mentioned that the "Dark" in "Dark Star Saber" makes sense as it's a Star Saber counterpart forged from Dark Energon.
It's not the "Energon" part of "Dark Energon" that mattered, but the "Dark" part.

I made no such claim. What I said was that, from a show standpoint, using the "dark" in Dark Energon as a naming basis for the Dark Star Saber kind of draws a flat parallel when the regular Star Saber may or may not be forged from Energon.

What about something like "The Chaos Bringer"?
That would be a bitch'n name, and fits in because it's made from the blood of Unicron.

Remember the season 2 DVD/Blu-Ray art?
Notice the Cybertronian object in the middle behind Prime and Megs? We haven't seen this thing in the episodes yet, but since we've had more info regarding the upcoming episodes of season 2 since this was first seen, do you guys think that this thing could be the Omega Lock?

I too originally thought it was Vector Sigma's console, but was proven wrong by a quick rewatch of the scene.PrymeStriker wrote:It looks like either Vector Sigma or the front of the Nemesis to me.

As for the Nemesis, seems kinda random for something not that important to be given such focus on a DVD/BR cover.

That's just a superimposed, faded stock image of Cybertron laid over the background space.PrymeStriker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I too originally thought it was Vector Sigma's console, but was proven wrong by a quick rewatch of the scene.PrymeStriker wrote:It looks like either Vector Sigma or the front of the Nemesis to me.

Seeing as this setting is in space, I thought it could be the Nemesis moving toward Cybertron, and Optimus & Megatron are battling on it's roof.

It's still a stock image of Cybertron. Most of those will have it set in space.PrymeStriker wrote:You can still see stars and space on the bottom left and right of the photo, just above the platform the faction leaders stand upon.

What is there to really say it's not the Omega Lock?
