In the end, it doesn't really matter. If you can do that guttural Dr. Claw voice, then you're just a short synthesizer away from doing a spot-on Soundwave.

Incidentally, I can do that Dr. Claw voice.

Yeah, but when you hear the two side-by-side, the difference is still noticeable (and WFC Soundwave had such a bad-A-double-S voice).

-Whatever that site was meant to do, it isn't working for me.

-This difference is noticeable, but not extremely noticeable. Like I said, behind that much synthesizer, and with the right voice, nearly anyone can sound alike. Issac Singleton didn't play Soundwave in any special way, he did the flat, emotionless style Welker used.

-We can say ass here. No one will blame you for it.

I don't cuss. I didn't want to say/use that word, but couldn't think a good enough synonym that had the same level of connotation as it.

The only unique Soundwave was the one in Cybertron, every Soundwave since has been an attempt to replicate G1, WFC Soundwave especially.

I'm one of those who has an ear for distinctive voices. That voices matches the typical Soundwave-type voice, but I could tell that it wasn't an exact match even before I found out who the actor was.

Same here, what I meant was that while I could tell it was a different voice, he didn't do anything different with it. Slightly different voice played exactly the same way.

I guess it helps that WFC Soundwave is a different character from G1 Soundwave, and since he was voice by Isaac C. Singleton Jr. instead of Frank Welker, he has his own voice that isn't merely the same voice as G1 Soundwave.

If Frank were to eventually make Soundwave talk in this show, I'd like for him to make it sound at least a little different from his G1 Soundwave voice. Like how his Prime Megatron voice isn't just his G1 Megatron voice, but is instead a new take on it.

Okay, okay, I think I figured out how to say what I'm trying to say: It's a different guy trying to do the same voice. So while it sounds slightly different, it's still pretty much the same as before. Different actor, same voice, slight difference, but not a notable one.

As for me, I'd like to see Kup, voiced by Ed Asner. ;)

Though, I hate to change the topic again, but episode 22 has aired (in Canada again).

Episode 22 -

Ratchet's testing a sample of synthetic energon? Hey, an actual plot point carried over from the previous episode, and it wasn't even a two-parter. :D

Cliffjumper seen in recycled footage flashback.

Ratchet (sighing): "Sometimes, I wish I could do more." - Oh, I am already digging Ratchet in this episode. He is so channeling the personality of G1 Marvel Comics Ratchet (possibly the greatest Autobot character of all the Marvel G1 comics) in this one. 8-)

...until he injects himself with the sample and passes out. :o :-(

Ratchet transformed!... And we still don't get a good look at his altmode. Why do they never show that one up close?

Look at Ratchet go G.I. Joe on those Vehicons! He's go his Marvel G1 self's feel back. :D

LOL at Ratchet's clicking at Arcee. That is priceless!

Seems Ratchet forgot about the old saying of, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Oh snap! FINALLY. A good look at Ratchet's ambulance altmode!

Optimus Prime: "Autobots do not inflict harm unless all other options have been exhausted. (snarling angry) It is what separates us from the Decepticons." - A...MEN! Ratchet went too far with that torturing session. His synthetic energon is making him act more like if he had taken Dark Energon instead.

Totally saw Ratchet going rogue coming.

Say, are those Vehicon miners of a unique model from the normal and flying versions? Their shoulders look different enough.

First G1 Cliffjumper punches G1 Megatron in the family jewels, and now Prime Ratchet nails Prime Megatron right in the kisser! They've got serious bearings, man. 8-)

Ever since episode 20, I've been expecting someone to die in these episodes. This time, I anticipated Ratchet, only to be fooled once again by his recovery.

There would be one drop remaining for the Cons to get their hands on.

I think this show is gonna get canceled if it dosent speed up soon. All these gaps in between episodes (months a time) is hurting the show. The story arc has been made and something needs to happen already. No more little side stories. No more gaps in between individual characters stories. Its too late for all that. Every episode needs to connect from week to the next. Its going on almost a year already (9 months) and Im losing interest and that sucks cuz I was really amped up about this show. Mainly because of Peter Cullen and Frank Welker were teaming up again,... but now thats lost for me. Frank/Megatron has hardly even been in this series and the story is just been too drawn out. I cant imagine the next episode (episode 22) being another filler.

I never said I wouldnt like a second season. I already knew it was picked up for second season but any hopes beyond that is looking pretty bleak if they are going to take this long.

I didn't know it was out. It must have just been released. However the last episode was a filler and at this point we should not still be having fillers at all.

Interesting fact, this episodes continues on from the previous one. So no, it wasn't filler.

It's already out. Go watch it on YouTube. It ain't no filler, that's for sure.

I didn't know it was out. It must have just been released. However the last episode was a filler and at this point we should not still be having fillers at all.

Interesting fact, this episodes continues on from the previous one. So no, it wasn't filler.

NO in the last episode (episode 20) Starscream decides to fly solo and be on no ones side. And episode 21 speaks nothing that. They again are trying to obtain a "MacGuffin" that gets destroyed. So no it did not pick up. This is what Im mean. They have something significant happen and then they drop it for several episodes (several weeks/months in this case) and no one makes any reference to it the following episode.

The last episode (Episode 21) involved Bulkhead getting his head overloaded with a data cache containing the formula for synthetic Energon. This episode (Episode 22) involves Ratchet making synthetic Energon out of what he could salvage of the formula.

Ok well we were talking about different episodes and like I said I havent seen it yet. None the less there are tons of others stories left unanswered, Starscream, MECH, Arachnid.

Unanswered =/= Filler. Just because they didn't answer it right away doesn't mean they won't answer it ever.

Airachnid's story has more or less finished, she's full-time Decepticon now, unless Megatron killed her or kicked her out for letting Starscream get away.

And as for Partners, you really think an episode that details Starscream switching sides, then going independent is filler? "Filler" would be an entirely self-contained story, and I will sell my own left arm if they don't revisit that.

NO I dont think Partners was a filler. I think T.M.I was a filler following Partners. Now I havent seen TBA yet so I guess T.M.I and TBA are connected. Great. Those two eps go together. The entire series as a whole has been lagging tremendously. Have you ever watched a show like Nip Tuck or Weeds? Where every episode picks up where last week left off. Where at the end of every episode your left on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next week.
With TF Prime Im not dying to see what happens next at all. Im just left wondering what ever happened to such and such and when are they gonna bring back whoever. Which all would all be fine if the show was consistently every week, but its not. Its been almost year and we barely reached episode 23.
