- Weapon: Saber Blade
Here are the episode 56 Autobits, as promised.
* "Uncle Sam" got his name in the 1900s as an alternative to the initials for "United States".
* The fortress has also recently been sprayed for termites. -- [a reaction to Ratchet's saying that the fortress is heavly shielded against unauthorized GroundBridges.]
* If you're looking for a "Gangnam Style" joke here, forget it. That's so 2012. -- [Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus both mentioned of "Wrecker-style"]
* It's been estimated that three-quarters of the world's population have access to a cell phone.
* This is the first and last time that Ratchet will let Miko use the GroundBridge for getting dinner.
* Soundwave has had more than one fortune cookie come true -- [Soundwave was suspicious of the chance that two Autobot-allied humans in two distinct locations would use their phones at nearly the same time, while Starscream just brushed it off as merely a little good fortune]
* Though he was going to say "Roll out!" didn't you? -- [Ultra Magnus: "Autobots, lock and load!"]
* Locked and loaded.
* What did you do now? -- [When the Insecticons arrived at the mine that was supposedly under attack (but wasn't), two miners looked at each other in confusion upon the bugs' arrival, with this line jokingly making it look like one accused the other of having done something wrong (again).]
* How is "Renegade Autobot Mischief" not already a band name? -- [When Megs asked why his forces were being scattered, Starscream answered "Renegade Autobot mischief, Lord Megatron."]
* Shockwave's face also gets over 300 cable channels -- [SOUNDWAVE (not Shockwave) pulled up an image of the Harbinger on his face visor's viewscreen]
* There was actually a series called Transformers: Armada in 2002. -- [Starscream called for his Seeker armada of Jet Vehicon Generals to the flight deck.]
* Dark Mount's original name was "Megatron's Super Awesome Party Palace".
* Wheeljack would make a great baseball player with that knuckleball. Strike three! You're out! -- [Jackie threw another grenade, and done blew up real good]
* Because it worked so well last time... -- [Starscream: "I assure you, master, I have everything under control and--"]
* Oh scrap. -- [Predaking showed up]
* Even the Predacon insignia is frightening.
* Although Transformers can survive sub-zero space, moisture with cold causes icing and reduction in core temperature. Optimus and Arcee were nearly frozen solid back in season one.
* Parkour! -- [referring to the way Shockwave jumped down Darkmount from ledge to ledge]
* Alpha Trion was Optimus' mentor back on Cybertron. He is one of the Original Thirteen Primes.
* Alpha Trion's voice is provided by George Takei, Star Trek's original Mr. Sulu.
* A stealth team is usually skilled at entering an area silently to avoid detection. As opposed to what's happening right now. -- [Arcee and Bumblebee were acting as a stealth team, and were under fire from some Vehicons]
* This is the first time Megatron faces off against Ultra Magnus in this series.
* This is Shockwave's Cybertronian Vehicle Mode. Like Megatron, he does not have an Earth Vehicle Mode.
* Do you think Arcee took tumbling classes when she was just a little tricycle? -- [Arcee tumbled to dodge some laser fire]
* The head butt really is the most painful of the butts. -- [Megatron headbutted Magnus]
* There is no accurate historical record of the actual name of Paul Revere's horse. -- [Fowler: "What in the name of Paul Revere's horse is taking them so long?"]
* That almost rhymed! Starscream is a poet and doesn't even know it.-- ["There was no sign of Optimus Prime."]
* "Join with the Allspark" is another way of saying "Meet your Maker". So dying, basically.
* The Matrix of Leadership can glow like this when it's about to choose a new Prime.
* Ultra Magnus is the second Autobot to be held prisoner in Darkmount in under a week. Wheeljack was the first.
* This is how the Autobots Raise the Roof -- [The held-at-gunpoint Bumblebee and Arcee had their hands raised over their heads]
* The power of the Forge + Optimus Prime = Optimus 2.0.
* It's. So. On.
* They just don't make thrones like they used to. -- [Megs' throne smashed when Prime Falcon Punched him into it.]
* Over the course of many Transformers series, Optimus has made a habit of periodically "upgrading" to new tech. At one point his Flight Mode was a result of combining with the Autobot Jetfire.
* Quite well? That's an understatement. -- [Magnus: "I repeat, Prime is alive, and quite well."]
* That's got to sting a little bit. -- [Optimus threw Megatron into the Fusion Cannon power core]
* Fowler's jet is based on the Harrier Jump Jet, which has the ability to hover and take off vertically.
* Megatron's definitely not getting his security deposit back now. -- [Fowler's Sky Strikers made Darkmount go bye bye]
* Kind of makes London Bridge falling down look wimpy... huh?
* "Team Prime" was first coined by Bulkhead in Episode 102 -- [that would be "Season 1, Episode 2", rather than "Episode One Hundred and Two".]
* The Forge was their best chance of restoring the Omega Lock and bringing life back to Cybertron.
* ...And the Earth couldn't hope for a better team to protect them from the chaos that awaits.
As a bonus, there was a commercial during one of the breaks about Predaking that said, "A wingspan of two football fields, breath hotter than the planet Mercury, eats Autobots for breakfast, enter the Predaking, the ultimate Autobot hunter, only on Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters. Returns next Friday at 7:30 Eastern, 4:30 Pacific. It could happen, only on the Hub."
Also, in the preview for next week's new episode, Bulkhead says, "We could have beast wars on our hands."
"When there's gold feathers, punch behind you!!"Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.
Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
