There's still tons of territory to cover in this continuity. There's literally thousands of years-worth of story to explore that takes place before this show's present day. A prequel series, showing how they got to Earth and their earliest Earth-bound battles, could be doable.Delta Supreme wrote:That, and I have a feeling that the next cartoon will be yet another "reboot", cause I don't think that a full season or three can be generated with the whole "Robots in disguise" theme with a fully functional Cybertron. OVA or movie-mini-series that wraps up the pertinent plot points, that I can see though...

Is he not allowed to grow up and mature into a rational thinker who tries instead to succeed Megatron as his heir instead of his usurper? Must he always remain stagnant and stuck in a rut of delusions of grandeur? This is a Starscream who has learned from his trials and tribulations, having overcome his childish delusions and evolved into a three-dimensional, complex, and deep character who's come to realize that Megatron is his best ticket to success.Avensis-Mahiya wrote:Also, Starscream being loyal kind of defeats the purpose of the character for me.

OK, it wasn't THAT bad. I quite liked it from a "great justice" angle
He's pro-Decepticon. He wanted all of the Autobots and humanity to die, and Megatron to win. That's why he didn't like it.RAcast wrote:SlyTF1 wrote:This episode pissed me off so bad... I haven't been this mad since the ending of ME3.
Any particular reason? It was a pretty solid ending, wrapped up stuff that needed wrapped up, and revived Cybertron, which was the goal from about the middle of season two to the end. We even got Bee's personal arc with Megatron wrapped up, which I wasn't expecting, and am happy how they did it.
No it wasn't. The idea of season 3 being 15 or 16 episodes long was due to a miscommunication/misunderstanding. 65 episodes was always the intended longterm goal from the get-go.RAcast wrote:Avensis-Mahiya wrote:Personally I think that 'Deadlock' should have been in three parts, since I felt that it was kind of rushed.

It was. Season three was originally supposed to be a few episodes longer, but for whatever combination of reasons it was cut back to 13.

Nice, but frankly man WE DON'T CARE. As much as you brag about having been with the brand since 1984, we honestly couldn't care less.Rodimus2006 wrote:also is my 30th Anniversary and probably some others also have been with it as long as I have.
90%, eh? You don't watch many cartoons these day, do you?Rodimus2006 wrote:Unknown what type of Graphics the Reboot series will be using my money is on CGI being like Beware the Batman. Since 90% of all animation is now CGI.
No, Prime is getting its movie because the makers wanted to do more with it. There is no word on what the next cartoon will be, but the Aligned Continuity (which TF: Prime is a part of) is far from finished and has plenty of room for further exploration and expansion.Rodimus2006 wrote:Also based on my research & what I have uncovered points to it being a Complete reboot rather than a successor to Prime that is why Prime is getting that movie coming this Fall.
Any voice actor news at this point is false.Rodimus2006 wrote:Also I dont know if this is true or not true during my research I uncovered voice actors who will be in ONE and the Transformers they will be voicing. To me this seemed to good to be true as the original Generation 1 didnt have SLIPSTREAM.
We don't care.Rodimus2006 wrote:For now I am finishing up FALLING SKIES which has 2 episodes left. Thankfully got renewed for Season 4.

Also there have been a million games with worser endings other than Mass Effect hello heard of KoTor 2 Fade to Black The End WTF is that crap 20+ hours that is my ending.
I said "these days", as in the cartoons that are currently on TV right now in this day and age, not those from 40 years ago. Current, new stuff, which isn't 90% CG.Rodimus2006 wrote:Also Saber for your info I have been watcing Anime, Cartoons, since the 70's since the Amuro Ray Gundam Era so yeah I have watched Anime, probably longer than YOU HAVE.

Megatron died and Bumblebee lived. TFP Megatron was one of my favorite fictional characters ever, definitely the best Megatron, and to see him taken out like that made me mad.
My apologies.Burn wrote:Sabrblade - You're not a Moderator. If you have a problem with someone's post then use the Report this post button instead of taking matters into your own hands.

Sabrblade wrote:You know, this is the first "Autobots say goodbye to their human allies as they all leave Earth" ending we've had since RiD. Well, okay, there was that one scene in Armada's finale, but that was less of a goodbye from the Bots leaving Earth and more of a goodbye from the kids returning to Earth, and only to a couple of the Autobots dropping them off. Not to mention that they just went on to establish greater relations with Earth, anyway.
I think the only TF cartoon series to ever have this kind of an ending were The Headmasters, Masterforce, RiD, and Prime.

Not quite. That show ended with relations between Earth and Cybertron (and all the other planets in the Space Bridge Network) becoming greater than ever, with humans coming to Cybertron and such. In this show (and the three other examples), the Autobots all go back to Cybertron after saying goodbye to their human friends, leaving behind Earth and humanity itself.viruscarnage wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You know, this is the first "Autobots say goodbye to their human allies as they all leave Earth" ending we've had since RiD. Didn't Cybertron have a final good bye as well?

Seriously. This Megatron was even more of a joke than G1 Megatron. Worst leader ever.
