Ever figure out what Cannonball's kibble suggested, Sabrblade?

I don't know. I honestly don't remember what he look like. It was a black and while penciled sketch and, at the time, I took it as being concept art for Cybertron Cannonball instead of Aligned Cannonball, and so didn't pay that close attnetion to it. I did the same with Brimstone, but his was easier to remember since it was the same type of animal as his Cybertron counterpart.

Looking around on other botcon 2011 Hasbro panel reports, all I can find that people wrote about Cannonball are his name, the fact that he's a Star Seeker, and that he's "leaner" than Cybertron Cannonball.

Hey! Arcee says Fowler's relocating Raf's family since the Cons found out where he lives! That's some good thinking.

Soundwave's decoded the next Iacon relic location, and Megatron's got plans for a decoy.

Bulkhead's going out on the mission. Guess he's fully recovered.

I LOVE the facial expressions animated on Megatron's face when he first sees the unearthed relic and states that it mustn't fall into Autobot hands. It's rare that a Megatron would show such genuine concern as seen on this Megs' face in that scene.

Unsurprisingly, the relic can only be removed by a Prime, and has rendered the surrounding rock its encased in impermeable.

Jack: "I just pulled a Miko."

It'd actually be kinda funny if Smokescreen were Hot Shot instead and able to pull out the Star Saber due to his future Rodimus status.

Or, wait! What if Jack could remove it?!

Optimus is totally Spider-Man minus the web-slinging.

Prime's holding on to the sword. but can he pull it out? Especially while dangling from miles above and taking heavy laser fire?

Looks like... Yes! He's got it! After eons of searching, dreaming, and hoping, the Star Saber has FINALLY come into the possession of Optimus Prime!

Everyone;'s reactions to Optimus slicing the mountain in half are priceless.

DUDE! Prime just struck the Nemesis with an energy slash! Smokescreen: "He can do that?" LOL

Megatron: "We Decepticons now face our Darkest Hour."

Arcee's not too pleased with Smokescreen taking Jack into battle with him.

Nor is Optimus. Yikes.

The sword's reacting to Optimus's words of wisdom.

No wait. It's communicating with him, sending him a message... from Alpha Trion (not Prima, but still cool).

Frank Welker voiced the truck driver? I thought it was Kevin Michael Richardson again.

FINALLY! An episode worthy to call fantastic! This is the kind of episode that I've been waiting for for so long, and how the show should have been long before now. It was amazing. Smokescreen just adds so much love to this show, and the greater lore-based aspect added by the Prima Star Saber just took things up to the eleven. I think even the music got superbly more wonderful in this episode, and it brings Optimus Prime's eons-long quest for the legendary sword to a close. And what's more, it opens up a whole new window to so much more with the sword enabling Alpha Trion to mentally contact Optimus with a message. So much of this episode felt like it was written with the mindset of the 3H/Fun Pub Transformers fiction, which was chock full of this lore-based goodness that it leaves me just oozing for more. Hands down the greatest episode of season 2 thus far.

Next week, Megatron gets the Forge of Solus Prime working for himself, and makes a sword to counter the Star Saber.

*Jack was paired with Smokescreen to teach him about Earth, and how to keep a low profile.

*Fowler was relocating Raf's family because the Decepticons know their location.

*The Decepticons planted a decoy relic signal for the Autobots to visit while they went for the real relic; the Star Saber

*The decoy seems to have scrambled communications, or the Autobots were out of range.

*The Star Saber is an ancient weapon forged by Solus Prime. Legend has it that it contains the power of the Matrix.

*The Star Saber has released an protective shield, and will only respond to the power of a Prime.

...oh great...

*Since Ratchet couldn't reach Optimus and the others, Smokescreen was sent to the location of the Star Saber

"I just pulled a Miko."

*Since the Decepticons couldn't remove the Saber from the rock, they simply lifted the rock using the Nemesis. Meanwhile, Ratchet bridged to the other Autobots and lead them to the other signal

*Optimus Prime was able to obtain the Star Saber by jumping onto the rock, still being lifted by the Nemesis

*Later, Optimus Prime received a message through the Star Saber "from Alpha Trion."

Oh ****. More epic stuff!

*If Arcee is Jack's mom, Smokescreen is his home-from-college older brother. He's irresponsible and a bad influence but he comes through in a pinch. AND he gets called out on it. So that's good.
*Raf is being relocated because the Decepticons now know where he lives. Wonder what they told his mom. (Apparently the cons are not familiar with social media, I doubt any of the kids is very well-hidden. It worked for MECH!)
*THE STAR SABER. What to say....man, Megatron was desperate to get his hands on it. Taking the entire rock face just to keep it out of Optimus's hands. 'course, that didn't work, because Optimus took a few levels in badass and scaled that mountain like a boss.
*The entire fight scene was epic. LOVE the action sequences in this show. And then Optimus nonchalantly slicing open the boulder, followed by the Nemesis.
*Vince made another appearance. Still a jerk.
*Smokescreen got scolded by Optimus himself. **** just got real. And then....message from Alpha Trion.
And let's not forget:
"I just pulled a Miko."
Best line of the episode.

Like I said, becoming a Prime doesn't work that way. And where would he even get a Prime's arm?

By the way, I loved the look on Megatron's face after Optimus got the Star Saber. I always like it when the villain's face shows just how irreversibly screwed he thinks he is.

Like I said, becoming a Prime doesn't work that way. And where would he even get a Prime's arm?

Watch the promo, it looks like they open a coffin, and then megatron uses the forge of solus prime to craft a Dark Saber, as it were, and optimus is pretty disgusted with him.

It could just be a decepticon relic, like a power gauntlet or something, but something makes me doubt that.

Also, Why the hell is every important relic on earth? I mean, I get that they hid relics off planet, and they knew about earth for a long, long time, but this is just ridiculous. You'd think they hid everything there. I like your theory, about how Unicron is attracting them there, but they should really get on explaining why everything's seemingly landed on planet earth for one reason or another.

Ah, Smokescreen, you are so much fun but such a very bad influence. You even have Jack acting immature to a degree. although the contrast really shows how responsible Bee, the former "kid" really is. I was so used to thinking of the scout as the little brother I missed out on how reliable, hard working, and clever the little yellow Autobot was. If the goal of each new character is to accentuate the personalities of the existing cast then the writers nailed it with this one.

In general this episode was just chock full of awesome.

The Star Saber exceeded all my expectations.

As I said in an earlier post, it seems that Optimus's combat style can be summarized "Take the high ground", and he DOES!
Watching a semi pull an 85 degree slope was just pure adrenaline!

Ratchet pulls another impressively risky tactic out of his stowage compartment. Last week he stations Bulk nera Raphs' house, now he delivers himself through the comm interference to get the message to Optimus. He is SO living on the edge. Heheh.Is it me or is Ratchet getting younger in his old age?

Smokescreen has already forgotten the severity of his recent past just so he can have some fun with Jack.I think the writers have lost the plot there. Let me guess: Arcee will get jealous of Smokey and Jack just in time for Airacchnid to get released from stasis and stage 'welcome to my nightmare II'.

"I got YOUR back". Bulkhead is a soldier of the Autobot cause through and through. He seems to have healed psychologically (or totally shed the negative skin) that appeared with the arrival of Smokescreen (then again Miko wasn't around to bust his bearings today).

Bumblebee got some legitimate airtime again. Good to see.

Megz went from anxiety to anxiety today. Also good to see, since it's rare to see.

Megz gets a new armdo next week. Will it be an act of desperation or a forced gift from the writers? Can't wait to see Starscreams' face during his next attempted ambush of Decepticon interests.

From the looks of things, she's worried about Jack's safety, and is angry that Jack "pulled a Miko" to go Artifact Hunting with Smokescreen. She's not jealous, she's just angry that Jack was almost killed by Insecticons because Smokescreen thought it would be a good idea to bring Jack along.

(When they suggest Megatron stole Bumblebee's T-Cog, Ratchet says even Megatron wouldn't do that)
