Seriously though while I have no interest in ever seeing a Transformers and MLP crossover, I could see why some would want one. My personal opinion is just

I was thinking. Do you think Arcee should have killed Airachnid in the episode Armada? It would't have made a difference anyway if she did seeing as how the Insecticons would've still joined Megatron anyway but some people are saying Arcee had the right to kill her there but was played by Airachnid to let her live due to morality clouding her judgement.
And we all know just how necessary that was.njb902 wrote:kaijuguy19 wrote:We'll know eventually if the Rescue Bots meet up with the cast of Prime once S2 of RB comes on.

No, because then we wouldn't have got Airachnid's nosferatu upgrade.

But I do agree that killing her would have been wrong.
kaijuguy19 wrote:I guess you could make the arguement that there was no need to kill Airachnid since she was trapped in the pod for a good long time. However Arcee wouldn't kill her out of vengence this time around though since she's gotten over the need to kill her not to mention it would've ended Airachnid's reign of terror. It would've prevented Airachnid to becoming a vampire near the end of the series. I may be thinking too deep into it though.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
TFWiki had a big discussion about that, with them ultimately going with it being Maximo's arm because:Dead Metal wrote:Yo remember how the Covenant states that the arm Megatron uses to wield the Forge was Liege Maximo's? Turns out that that's a retcon, the concept sketches in the book refer to it as "Sentinel Prime's arm".

- The Covenant's claim was written from an in-universe perspective (with the Alpha Trion himself making the claim) while the Art of Prime's claim was written as an out-of-universe tiny image caption (another of which on the same page identifies Megatron's sword as the "Dark Saber" instead of the name Megatron himself gave it: "Dark Star Saber")
- The nature of a Prime as spelled out by the Covenant makes Sentinel Zeta having never been an authentic Prime, having only been one secularly rather than spiritually, meaning he wouldn't have had any of the mystical Prime powers and couldn't have used the Forge's power.

But he is still based on Movie Megatron, he's Alt Mode, big size, and spikes are all thanks to Movie Megatron.Megatron was originally going to be based on his Movie design, and was supposed to have all these twisted metal parts digging into his body and growing out of other body parts to reflect him having suffered in the past. But then they scraped that and opted to redesign the G1 design.

Did I EVER say he is not? Just like in Animated, he essentialy is a mix of G1 Megatron and Movieverse Megatron in term of physical apperance.Prime Megatron is also based on G1 Megatron. His color scheme, bucket helmet, and fusion cannon are all taken from that incarnation. He's also got the exact same voice actor, so...
But still, in G1 and RiD he wasn't that big, at least not so big by Optimus Prime point of view.Megatrons are almost classically huge.

Jose Lopez wrote:Megatron went through a lot of changes. Originally, we wanted to borrow designs from the movie version. We saw him as a tortured soul, twisted metal into his body and coming out elsewhere. He didn't have the anatomical breaks that our guys have, which is a guy in armor. At some point we said let's forget the movie stuff and just do our own thing.
Then I went back to looking at Megatron from G1. If you look at the legs, the way the shins curve in and out and the back of the leg, the cannon on the arm, the bucket head, even things like the position of the the emblem on his chest and the little cuts on his ribcage, all those elements are still there.

I wouldn't be surprised if James Hill took inspiration from Conan when he wrote the original gladiator origin story of G1 Megatron, "State Games", for Marvel UK.Dead Metal wrote:So I've seen Conan the Barbarian (the old one) again yesterday and realized something.
I think Prime/ Aligned Megatron may have been based on Conan, well at least the movie version.
Both grew up in slavery, both ended up as gladiators, both educated themselves during their time as gladiators, both discover in the arena that they are worth something, and both end up crowning themselves as king.
Also, both are built like sh*thouses and have a sword
Pretty cool actually.
