Fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade has spotted a series of screenshots from the Chinese airing of upcoming Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series, as captured and shared by Weibo user megatronus. The image below can and should be considered as minor spoilers for people interested in the story of the series, so tread at your own peril!
What we do get to see are the character designs in animation context of the main cast of Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Strongarm and Grimlock, plus Optimus Prime, what looks potentially like Drift and a couple of unknown characters - but no Decepticons yet. Check them all out mirrored below.

Anybody else here thinking that the truck in the 4th screenshot should have been the alt mode for Kup in the Generations line? Or any line for that matter?

I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

Ha! Sure. Or your Alt mode. I'm really liking these character designs/art direction. I think Prime looks cool. They all look cool.
Do I recognize those credited names from TFPrime? If so, it's comforting to know it's a similar crew making this show.

We don't know the whole story yet. For all we know, Optimus is still dead at first and then comes back at some point (after all, it's Peter Cullen who's voicing him, and we know how he feels about Optimus dying and staying dead). You think that's Jazz? Could that be Smokescreen? I can't see his head that well. Neat looking design though. I like how his tires are his shoulder joints. I like some jazz.
