Who raised four children, even, while simultaneously safeguarding an entire island's worth of civilians before the Bots came along. Chief's a real trooper and hero in his own right, as beautifully illustrated in one of (if not the) best episodes of that show, the one called "Family Business".

Which also reminds me that we were once hinted by that show's creators in some interview or BotCon panel that we'd get to find out what happened to his wife, but we never did. Nor Doc's first wife either.

Nor Denny's wife too, now that I think about it (in an attempt to bring this back to RID).

Denny's wife is fine she dropped Russell off at the start of the show although we have never seen her.

If I remember correctly Russell is there for the summer or something like that but I could be wrong.

That's because the "Season 2.5" Starscream arc was produced separately from the rest of Season 2.

I like how once Bulkhead shows up, Bumblebee's just like "yeah whatever, here's the cast of the new show, I'm sick". I mean, it's like his addition to this episode was an afterthought. Didn't deserve such a bitter-sweet reintroduction considering Ratchet, Soundwave, and Starscream got a much warmer reception once they came back.

...And I still haven't caught up on the episodes in between this and "The Great Divide". I was just curious to see Bulkhead's RID design.

Honestly, Bulkhead didn't really feel like he was all that integral to the episode. They could easily have left him out altogether and replaced his role with pretty much any other Autobot character in the show (with some excuse for how they weren't rendered ill by Wingcode's virus like the others) and nothing of value would have been lost. The first-third of this episode even felt like it completely forgot that Bulkhead was even in this episode as he was relegated to the background until Grimlock finally ran off to go after Wingcode without a plan.

It's episodes like this that make me really miss Animated Bulkhead, who had a way more fun and interesting personality than his more generic Prime counterpart.

I went looking to make sure tomorrow's episode was going to air (as I, for some reason, thought today was Saturday and was wondering why I hadn't seen anything about it), and found the synopsis for the final episode, according to this. Spoilers and you have been warned. TFwiki has one for the episode before it, but I can't find a source for it.

I think this is one of the better episodes so far. Actual plot progression (gasp!), Dropforge being there and a mini-con was pretty cool, Steeljaw actually felt fairly intimidating and it was nice they actually used his talent; and none of the characters acted like idiots.
If I were to have any criticism though, it's that Strongarm seemed to work out the whole mind control thing pretty quick. Suspecting something's wrong due to how Dropforge is acting certainly makes sense, but then to quickly assume that something's wrong with his head or some such? Felt a bit fast. Ah well, it was still pretty good.

The medical tool she used at the end told her about the signal that was being directed from Cybertron into Dropforge's brain, so she didn't think of it herself. It told her about the mind control.
