And for the sake of fairness, if you're offering a legendary, you can ask for whatever you want, from Ratata to Arceus and everything inbetween.
While I agree - there is a filter for that exact problem

Yes but...you can't filter out the BS requests. The only filter you can use is "Show only offers that want Pokemon I have" and if you have a bunch of Legendaries already, that's just going to shove the issue into your face rather than solve it.

But if they can't be traded, then why bother with being able to search for them in the first place?Hellscream9999 wrote:Shadowman wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:Shadowman wrote:GTS needs some serious reworking. Sure you can, there's actually a secondary filter - before you select 'search' - go to 'Options' and select: "Don't include" for people requesting special pokemon, should fix your problems

Oh, I know how to use the feature, but that's not what I'm talking about. If you can't even trade event Pokémon anyway, then why not just remove the ability to ask for them in the first place?Hellscream9999 wrote:You guys seriously not messed around with this? It just filters out people requesting legendaries for a pokemon you're searching for, leaving all the normal requests, I used it all the time over the last 4-5 years (as I believe that black/white 2 had it as well)
So, say I'm searching for a slowbro, by selecting 'don't include' it removes all the d|cks that want an arceus (or anything similar) for a frickin' slowbro, leaving people who want something reasonable, like a tauros or servine for it instead.
Seriously it fixes all your problems

Kinda. It would be awesome to see, but it would also make Cynthia harder to beat than she already is.Shadowman wrote:Is anyone excited to see if Cynthia is going to Mega-Evolve Garchomp?

But that's not what I'm here to talk about. What I am is that I realized that with the Pokemon Bank, one could actually obtain all three starters as soon as you get access to a PC. Cheating? Maybe a little, but they could fix it whenever they want, so I'm still going to abuse it.
Probably savescum for a female Popplio.

Actually, Bank doesn't get updated to be compatible with Sun/Moon (and virtual console red/blue/yellow) until January. Which, yes, also means you won't be able to transfer anything up until January.

Well that's all right then. Just gonna have to use local resources. Does anyone know if the free event legendaries are going to be offered up on Sun and Moon as well? Because two weeks after is when they start giving out free Meloetta.

Nope, you've gotta keep your Gen 6 game for those.

I do love that first 4chan post. "I will never buy anything from Nintendo again." Pretty sure that's what got him in that mess to begin with!
