Nice pics Bod! Love the idea of a naval themed group

We can give all the flack we want about the kiddie Cyberverse line. But credit where credit is due, Cyberverse is not afraid to think outside the box.

So because most Cyberverse figures are hollow and they make a point about limiting articulations for simplicity... Don't you guys think the Cyberverse line would be the right place for the comeback of the Pretenders? And I mean proper ones that are as big and with the overall same designs as in G1. Maybe with less tiny detachable parts of course.

I personally think such a comeback in a mainline would be pretty boss. Especially if some young kids make fun memories with them.

Dirgegun! I think he was from Beast Wars Returns (Japan-Only), Zero — one of the few I have from that line. But he is wicked lookin’.

You know what i would enjoy to see? IDW Carnivac as a pretender, so he is literally both a Beast Wars and a Pretenders figure. It could work.

dude, I got Lio Convoy, and he is not a brick, he can move! And I agree with the lion head for a shoulder pad, it's brilliant.

This talk, along with other talks in other threads, makes me thing that much like this Pretender thread, we need a Beast Appreciation thread. Guess I'm headed there next!

You know what I'd love to have? Something that go beyond the Ultra Pretender.

The ultra giga omega dafokizdis Pretender!

Starting with a titan-master figure that would be a "rock lord" of sort. Inside a transformable scout size bot. (We already have that with TR Brawn and such) In a somewhat articulated "human" shell. Enough to make a classic sitting "piloting" pose. That pilot will then pilot a fully transformable vehicle. But that vehicle would only have a land vehicle mode and a flight vehicle mode. Then that vehicle would then fold in a more compact form than the land vehicle to be stuffed into a giant-ass non-transformable kaiju-like monster shell that would be fully articulated (but without the waist obviously).

So.
