I do love the Pretender Vehicles and Beasts! I will be very curious to see if he's reasonable with Chainclaw and Doubleheader, but what he does is go on eBay and goes with the average for "real market value". We shall see....and all I need now is a tail for Carnivac. ;p

Let's hope he base his prices on the SOLD listings. Because the asking prices are often bullcrap.

Gunrunner is a personal fave, as he's the only pretender I had as a kid, which I've still got (minus his 3 guns, and the rear wheel rubber which perished).
I always liked how you could sit him in his shell as if he were actually driving it.

Ok, he said:
-Chainclaw $60
-Doubleheader $75
-Crossblades $100

I kinda want all 3, but which one first.....hmmmm

If all of those pretenders are 100% complete, clean, and unbroken, those prices are perfectly fair. And a great deal compared to EBay. If money is no object, get them all. If budjet is limited get the one you love the most ASAP.

Went with Doubleheader! Hope the other two stick around....

YES! That li'l gun sealed the deal, really -- you know how it is with dem accessories! I figured if Chainclaw disappears, it would be easier to hunt him down. That's also a great deal for Crossblades....but I would've preferred Vroom (or these other two!).

Try to get that Crossblades ASAP. He's very awesome, bad, and ridiculous. I LOVE HIM! And so will you. Especially if he's 100% complete. So many parts!

Chainclaw was #1, but I had to prioritize based on difficulty to obtain and price! If Chainclaw is still there in a few weeks, he'll come home for bear-y pun times.

Based on price and rarity, Crossblades should be your next priority.
I found some Chainclaws on Ebay that come even cheaper than what your local seller sell it for. And that's including shipping. Many of it.

Meanwhile, only one Crossblades that is still missing one part. The rest are junkers.
If your sellers buyback used figures for store credits like my local store do, you should consider getting rid of some unwanted extras to get that Crossblades quicker. That is, if he's 100% complete of course.

Crossblades is complete, Kanra! I probably do have some bots for trade....but he only sells G1. I'm not sure if I have G1ers I could part with :p

If you are a good customers of his, you could ask him to set Crossblades asside with a 20$ deposit or something. That's what my local seller would do anyhow.

I was ridiculously lucky with my 100$CAN Crossblades. Even at 100$US, it's still damn lucky on two fronts. The price is still super good and the fact that it's 100% complete at all is a miracle in itself. Don't miss it!

Same, he was my favorite as a kid and I still love him now. Though, thinking about it, next to the others he's a rather tiny bear isn't he?

He's bigger than yer average bear, Emerje! More than double the girth of the mini Pretenders (Doubleheader, Bludgeon, etc.). I still want Chainclaw, so I hope he's still around in a month -- I picked up Crossblades. Kanra had a very compelling argument!

Congrats on getting one of the most RIDICULOUS transformers ever!

After that will be the hunt for a 100% complete Vroom and maybe finding that damn Thunderwing small gun.

That Crossblades looks far better than mine, but mine is missing the rotor blades and the two small guns.

The only thing my Vroom needs (apart from maybe a clean) is the sidecar attachment.

Like I said, I would've preferred Vroom (love bikes), but to see Crossblades complete and near-minty is nice. The vintage toy store I went to for him just got boxes of TFs circa 1989, and the seller did not seem to have had transformed his bots! They were so tight that I am trying to minimze making any marks on them.

Sure, but compared to a giant wolf, warthog, and tiger the bear feels a bit on the small side comparatively.

I have a Crossblades, but he's missing the two white guns and a ski.

That's true -- as a grizzly, he should be huge, Emerje. But I do see the Con Beasts as monstrous beasts (like the Calydonian Boar), and Chainclaw is "normal" bear-size.

I think I like Crosablades better with his helmet down...!
