1st match. MitB
I called it baby! Mr. Money in the bank... bank took her home. Mind you he did almost break his neck from missing the Ken-ton bomb THEN taking a huge swanton bomb. Jeff Hardy damn near kills Edge with a massive Teabagging from 20ft in the air through a ladder! My firends and I wathced that about 50 times. Also, if anyone recorded it, watch Kennedys face after his head bounces off the ladder and after Kennedy GBPs Hornswaggle. Finley couldn't stop laughing. Neither could I. 1 point for DS
2nd match
I was the only person in the room to pick the great chin and it paid off in aces. It of course was a slow and boring match. Kane did well, but couldn't make the match decent enough to not be the piss break of the night. 1 point for DS
3rd match - US Championship.
I picked MVP... what the hell was I thinking. I'm a huge Benoit fan too, so I'm more disappointed with myself. MVP came out with cheerleaders and sporting a new, flashy red get up that did nothing for his... masculinity. MVP screwed up many a move in the match and was all around terrible. Benoit crushes MVP with the Diving Headbutt for the Win. 0 points for DS.
4th match.
New Breed vs. Originals. I picked New Breed. I'm a big fan of the new tallent, but I'm also a fan of the older guys. The highlight of this match for me was, again, Ariel. F' she looked great. The match was incredably short but the superstar of that match was Striker. He sold Dreamers DDT and RVDs Monkeyflip and the Five star. 0 points for DS
5th match World Heavyweight Championship.
What a great match. Batista and Taker really gave their all in this match. Big spot of the match was the running power slam from one table to another! What a spectacular spot for two big men. There wasn't one time in the whole match these two let me down. I pretty much called the ending at the start of the match, so I was happy to see Taker pick up the win. 1 point for DS
6th match Battle of the $$$
Pretty decent match. Everyone had a good laugh at Autsin for coming out in skin tight pants, but it's ok, he's been out of the ring for a while. It went back and forth a bit, but the real highlight of the mathc was when Shane-o-mac connected with the Van Terminator from across the ring to Lashleys face! Grabage can and all. Shane of course got his ass handed to him by austin, who if I recall had been hit twice by Monkey Penis already in the match. Lashley wins via a pretty good spear (way better the the 6 spears Edge laid out in the MitB match) VKM gets a shave and Trump gets the stunner. 1 point for DS
7th match - Lumberjill match, Womans Title
Piss break. I originally picked Melina but for some dumb reason switched to Ashley at the last second. Douche bag... Only good thing about the match was that Melinas pants were see through and you could see her clam. Hilarious. Minus a million points for picking Ashley.
8th Match WWE Championship
First things first. Who were they kidding when they had a stunt driver peel into the arena only to take the camera off of it so Cena could come out the drivers side? Don't know, don't care. The same reaction as last year. Every time Cena connects, crowed boo'd. Not as much as last year, but still enough to drown out anyone cheering for Cena. HBK was whoopin' his ass all over the joint for most of the match. Shawn even pulled off a jumping pile driver onto the stairs. It even looked good. Both men bleeding, they went into a series of counters and reversals that went over really well I think. Cena hit the FU once and missed it twice. HBK I think only hit Cena once with Sweet Chin, but it was too little, as Cena locked in the STFU to make the other half of DX tap at 'Mania. 1 point for DS.
At the end of the night it was a three way tie between me and two other guys. How might we settle this? By plaing a three way ladder match on SvR 07 of course! I picked Finley and crushed them both to win the prize money. Yes, fourty canadian dollers is now mine to rub in their faces!!!
On a side and awsome note, did anyone see Slick!! Man was I happy to "jive so low" again
