Bonecrusher27 wrote:Thanks guys. That's my problem. Hasbrotoyshop has TWO listed, so I presume one is and one isn't. Any ideas how I can differentiate between the two? I know that one should say Real Movie voice, but just from online I can't make it out.
It should be pretty obvious so long as there is a photo of it in package.
It will say (as you said) 'real movie voice' where the yellow bit is on the angled bit on the bottem left (as you are looking at it) angled bit that connects the front to the side. Also instead of allover yellow on that pannel of the box, it'll be red and yellow.

I actually think that with age, Cullen's voice has become even more booming and authoritative than it was for G1.
On topic though, I have found Cullen versions without the "real movie voice" packaging. looks like they get mixed up sometimes.

Yeah mine is the Cullen version, but it did not have the yellow tab either.
I just went along in store pressing the buttons enough to get a good feeling for which helmet was which. The voices are distinctly different, but after all these years of Chalk voiced Primes it takes a while to not hear him and think "Prime".

Very True, even though I consider Cullen the true Optimus Prime, Chalk has voiced far more incarnations of Prime.
I always wondered where Cullen was for all these castings? I dig Gary Chalk as Primal but why was he also prime for Armada, Energon, Cybertron etc.?
I want to believe it was because dubbing over japanese cartoons is an american voice actors nightmare. Michael Bell made mention of this at this years Transformerscon.

Maybe I should have been more explicit; I am ordering online because I can't get him in stores. I don't live in the United States, so I wanted to get him from an online store. The 25% deal just seemed to sweeten the pie that much more that I had to get it from Hasbrotoyshop.com
Once again thanks!

BBTS on the other hand does, and also has the Cullen one available for $34.99 here:

Will it sit upright on a shelf out of the box? I think it would be a good display piece to go along with the movie figures.
edit: 50 posts, Mini-con no more!

Argh I seem to be skipping a lot of important info in my posts of late! Sorry again. Shoulda specified that I have a couple of good friends in the States I ship stuff to, who then ship to me for a lot less even inclusive of shipping than how much these b------ds are selling him here.
Not to digress, but here's an idea of how much we pay Movie line for:
Scout Class USD $10.60
Deluxe Class USD$17-20
Voyager Class USD$34
Leader Class USD$67
The Blessed Helmet USD$47
It's always good to have friends from other countries and cultures, but with transformer toys, it's proven to be great!

Its terrible when you see a toy that's worth 9.99 and have to pay 18 bucks for it. or a 19.99 toy go for 30 .
but hey they never said this hobby would be cheap.
But Fortunately I regularly go to the States, either on business or just to visit my sister, and have a chance to stock up on the harder to find things like Target exclusives, and what not.
