Much more than simply an up-sized EMOP Prime from AOE. While its true that much of the engineering is the same, there are quite a few subtle differences to take this figure beyond its beginnings, and place it in the very edge of Masterpiece level figures.
Lets look at truck mode first.

As you can see, the vehicle modes are largely identical, but the WJ version has much more paint detail, as well as chrome parts. The gas tanks on WJ are also removable to form a gun, or partsform to his back in robot mode. The fifth wheel section also has different colored plastics to help stand out, as well as some very subtle mold differences to allow more articulation in bot mode. On the back of the cab there is a huge difference as well. The hastak version is open to see the inner workings. The WJ version has a real world accurate panel, as well as dual exhaust stacks. In bot mode, this makes a pair of movie accurate shoulder panels. Looking at the bottom of the truck, you will see another set of panels on the WJ that the official doesn't have. These form the back panels that you see on the screen version of Prime. These can hold his gas tanks as well. Its very slick. So, lets see robot mode.

So, again, the biggest differences are the size, and much greater paint detail. One major mold difference is the trick WJ pulls with the tandem axles. The forward one swings up to the top of Prime's hips to replicate the look from the movies. It's pretty slick.
Here is a pic of the main weapon differences:

M01 is simply amazing. Any other questions, please feel free to ask.
