The big difference between Unicron and Primus though is Unicron doesn't chage bodies. He travels from reality to reality in the same body. Primus doesn't travel; he simply exists as one being in all realities at once.

Not quite the same thing. My point was that Unicron doesn't have different bodies in each universe. He has a single body which he can regenerate and rebuild every time he get's defeated.

I think he's saying Unicron can only have one body at a time, while Primus has one in every univers.

It's not the same thing. When Unicron goes from reality to reality, he does so physically in the same body. He doesn't switch. When his body is destroyed, he will rebuild it and upgrade it from what's left and from the sparks and energon he consumes. Thus, it is actually stil the same body, since it is built from the remnants. He isn't hopping into a new body, just rebuilding his old one.

I think it's being able to hop from one univers to another (Unicron) vs. existing in all universes at once (Primus).

Nah, but there's places Primus doesn't appear, such as the RiD universe, and the Armada Comic universe universe. That's my point- the Ultimate Guide can claim what it wants, but there are comics and cartoon series where there is no Primus, and there is no Unicron, or there's Unicron and no Primus.

Well, RID takes place entirely on Earth, so that does not exclude Primus from that universe. As for th Armada comics universe, yes, he does exist there. particularly once the comic changes into Energon.

Furman can't say a damn thing about the RiD universe since he's never had anything to do with it anyway. And the G1 cartoon, once again, had no Primus at all. You had Quintessons. And the Ultimate Guide once again, isn't the G1 cartoon, so it can't change what was IN the G1 cartoon.

Actually I was under the impression that he needs a lot of time to regenerate. That he doesn't just hop about in the same body, but that there are various bodies existing in a dorment state which then are activated when he accesses them AFTER the body he's in is destroyed. At least that's my impression of it.

The signs in RID don't point in any direction either way. It was simply never covered. The cartoon was retconned to include Primus in Wreckers #3, part of the Universe story line by 3H.

No. it's the same body. As stated on page 51 of the Ultimate Guide (bold for emphasis):

Unicron would return again and again, and could be temproarily defeated but never totally destroyed. Each time Unicron replenished itself, its evil grew and it adapted its body into new and different configurations. Its vast shielded Spark Core was resistant to even Matrix energy, allowing it to rebuild by absorbing other Sparks or pure Energon.

He didn't hop from body to body. He regenerated. The book even has a picture of him in the process of regenerating.

But the thing is that he's still body hopping. Armada Unicron is the same Unicron as G1, but the G1 unicron's body was destroyed thus that one had to regenerate. While this is going on his spark hopped to Armada were a body was lying dorment for him. The Unicron in Armada did not have the same body as he did in G1.

No, the spark didn't hop at all. The Armada body is the same body as G1. It's just a new configuration. Unicron doesn't have a different body in each reality.

Just because we didnt see a Primus or Unicron in RID it doesnt mean that they didnt exsit in that Universe.....it just means we didnt get to see it.....abscence of evidence is not proff of fact.
Personly I have read the Ulitamate Guide and even init it says that the Transformers live in a muiltyverse......but it really doesnt say with universe is the core....it does imply that the DW is but it doesnt say it 100% I.M.O. it just dances around it.
