And the Republic Commandos were in Rebels?! I need to stop being a fool and watch this dang show!!
Waiting to watch the Rogue One trailer this evening with my wife!
And I totally agree with Burn, I need a Vader-based movie, similar to the book Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader

It was a mix of Alex Guiness (a sample from A New Hope) and Ewan McGregor (who recorded his brief line)

He also said "These are your first steps." And it was Ewan McGreggor doing the voice.

It was only a brief appearance, and only Boss spoke, but it was very distinctively the Deltas. Another Commando shows up in a more involved role in a later episode, and when they show the inside of his helmet, it's an almost perfect recreation of Republic Commando's HUD.

False. You are not allowed your own opinion on this. Go buy it, right **** now!
And yes, seeing the walkers again was very awesome. As was the classic Star Destroyer.

I may reconnect to Netflix for that, and for the new Voltron series coming out in two months. If Peter Cullen does the intro again, that would be amazing.

IF they were to go with that (though it's more reincarnated chosen one than Anakin per-se) then I personally would be put off. Throw in all the other Empire parallels (Finn & Poe being captured and tortured to lure out Rey) then I really wouldn't be looking forward to Episode 9.
We don't need retelling/rehashes, we need new on-going stories.

Exactly. That's what I meant by my comparison of Snoke/Kylo to Sidious/Anakin. It's been done.Burn wrote:We don't need retelling/rehashes, we need new on-going stories.
