As I was getting the Y-Wing yesterday there was this little one next to where I was with his dad looking at the transformers and getting excited about the autobots

He had to be about 6 or 7 and he was singing the G1 theme

Then they showed some of the comic two packs. Including Obi-wan and Bail Organa with babies Luke and Leia.

I keep debating whether I should sell off my single carded versions of those (four) figures. I think I'll hang onto them for a while... watch their price drop because of this comic pack though

That's cool about the kid loving Transformers. It's going to be one of those things like Star Wars, that I think will still be around by the end of this century. Can you imagine that? It's just crazy-cool.

Alright, here's some pics of some of my vehicle collection. I pulled out all my TIEs, which amazingly all fit into one box without damage to them. Except the vintage ones, which are in another box. Plus the Rebel fighters A through Y, and a little comic starring R5-F7

Haha, no, I used to. I used to have my brother's vintage X-Wing, grey with the battle damage stickers, and the 1995 POTF2 version. Now I have a POTF2 X-Wing that someone gave to me, minus the cannons, in a box of custom fodder vehicles. I dislike that vehicle's minute size, since the corrected scale Saga (Luke's) version was released.

Same thing for the regular TIE Fighter... I'm tempted to buy one of the white $20 TIEs, but I keep thinking about those damn wings. If the large-winged TIE was released in white, that would be interesting. Inaccurate, but interesting.

Still waiting for an all-light-grey Vader's TIE. All the ANH TIEs were light grey, not blue. In ESB and ROTJ they were tinged blue, like the TIE Bomber above...

I'm looking for another one to pick up anyway (I'm a big Mara fan) so I'll have to remember to keep an eye out for this.

Mara's green saber blade is the first run, I believe, which was corrected with the violettish blade. I found one green bladed set last week, and several violet bladed sets. I'm debating whether to open it (great custom fodder) or keep it packaged. Do people really care that much about a variant like that?


Edit: I forgot why I came to this forum to post... there's a pic out now of the upcoming Battle of Hoth battle pack. Looks great, and finally we get a Hoth version of the AT-ST! I might even buy two of those sets...

Luke has sleeves; they're a lighter orange than the usual flightsuit. Like Zev, his jacket was a lighter color in ESB (as it should be). It was the cold weather jacket I guess, with that poofy neck piece. I'm wondering how articulated the Luke figure will be. Didn't we see some pics of upcoming battle pack figures outside of their packaging? And Endor set and a Hoth set if I'm not mistaken. Rebelscum's site search sucks major ass, though, so I can't find the news article there.

Question for you guys. Does Baron Fel fly a TIE Interceptor? Is it the same thing as the TRU exclusive that just came out, with the red stripes?

This makes me wonder if there might be a huge Endor set with an Endor-deco'd AT-ST and that bunker door playset piece? It would make sense to me...


Edit #2: looking at the pic WJ35 posted here, you can see that someone is at the top of the Rebel's turret. You can see one of their hands; must be the Rebel Commander. Those Hoth figures we saw a month ago must belong to this set... which really makes me hope for my idea about an Endor BP to be correct! It's just too bad the Hoth set has two VTAC Snowtroopers and one Saga Snowtrooper

I like the HOTH set because of the Snowtroopers and the AT ST.

If they did an Endor set like that with Biker Scouts that would be sweet. Please, no Ewoks.

You'd think there would be at least one Speeder bike in the Endor set too. But since the HOTH set does not have a probe droid, I suppose they could get away with no speeder bike.

That would be awesome. Maybe instead of the bunker piece we'll get some speeder bikes... I would prefer the CLone Wars handlebars though, since they would be a little more accurate. I'm still miffed that Hasbro hasn't made a whole new Speeder Bike -- and in the right color scheme (like the original toy was).

I went to Target this morning. Still nothing new, unless you think the Jawa with LIN Droid is new. I ordered those bitches online since they were always gone whenever I saw that wave. And big surprise! Tons of f%@#ing Saga Legends that I can certainly do without. I already loaded up on Episode 3 Clones when they were $5 each.

It disappoints me that they're still using the same AT-ST mold. I know a scale AT-ST would be impractical, but it would be nice if they'd put in the windows and accurate guns.
