Ah the legend of my screen name; sit back and I shall spin ye a tale. Our journey begins with me getting my AOL IM screen name in like 97 or 98; remember when that was THE way to chat on the net? Anyway professional wrestling was going through it's second boom period of the modern era and I was trying to pick a screen name that was a take off of one of the many popular wrestlers of the day. 3 hours later, frustrated, I typed in the most absurd name I could think of,ChuckEase, and it worked. Fast forward a few years and I had the need for a web based e-mail account. Yahoo was the popular service of the day and once again I found myself trying to pick something wrestling related. One of my favorites of the day was named Road Dog so taking the first part of my AOL screen name and a more "hip" spelling of dog and voila we had chuckdawg, which was taken so yahoo suggested I add _1999. That lasted a few months before I signed up wth a group called Freeweb that eventually morphed into Juno. I decided to take out the underscore and it has been with me ever since. Now back in the day I did have the noble idea of an exclusive user name for each site I visited but, my memory is crap so that idea went out the window. It's become cliche but wherever you see chuckdawg1999 it is I.

For the longest time, I used to have an old movie poster for the movie Dragonslayer in my bedroom (I think it's still in there somewhere...), and when I started playing computer and video games, "Dragonslayer" was one of the names I would use to play with among others. And I've always been a fan of dragons and stuff like that, so I thought Dragonslayer sounded like a kickass name.
