To be fair, the decepticons were made by humans in the last one, also if you're referring to Lockdown working with humans, he never said he was a decepticon, in fact he even states that he's working for the creators!

The word "Decepticon" was never used in the movie to directly refer to either Galvatron or the rest of the KSI Prototypes.

In fact, Galvatron and all the Prototypes were given a KSI insignia in the "Ultimate Transformers Showdown", while all the Cons from the first three films got a

logo and Lockdown just had a "TF4" logo.

It's like if Darth Vader approached a group of bounty hunters and asked them to fight for him sure Vader would be leading them but their not part of the Empire.

and I didn't say that in my last statement, now it's more of a case of:

Galvatron: I need an army!

Galvatron: meh they'll do, they will be enough to beat five autobots and a few humans up. Not like Optimus is going to find some other cybertonians around here that have dinosaur alt modes that could tear apart almost anything...

I honestly am pissed off that they killed off Stinger especially since they didn't do anything with him.

Only bad guy alive is always Megatron/Galvatron how are you supposed to get people interested in the bad guys when they don't even live longer then 5 or 10 minutes?

So mad about Stinger.

The movies have always had this problem of sorts, in the first film only starscream + barricade escaped but neither got the spotlight, in the second one megs was brought back but, aside from the forest fight, was kept back. DotM killed off all threats. AoE was in a bad position threat wise, it would if worked better teasing galvatron then letting the fifth film focus on his revolution of all the drones while adding to the threat of the creators leading into the sixth film. But c'est la vie, I'm interested what effect the writer's room will have on tf 5

Next year Superbowl 51 (or LI or whatever they will call it) 2/5/17 -mark it on your calendar if you want to see a teaser for TF5.

nah i think we'll see a teaser out long before then!(i'm now thinking maybe at Botcon? or whatever event it is that's coming up later on in the year) coz remember....with The Force Awakens, a teaser came out a YEAR before the actual film came out! now that's not to say that we may not see a FULL trailer drop at the next Superbowl.

& i also said....or whatever event that's coming up later on in the year! which could mean something that happens AFTER the time that they start filming!

as to what events happen then? i'm not sure? but i'm sure something will.

but my point is....that we're bound to get at least a teaser......before the next(not this one coming up) Superbowl.

Well yes, it might be like the first film and we'll get a tease just before Xmas. However we don't need an event for this to happen so stop linking a teaser to events like conventions. But I do believe there will be something at next year's super bowl

& btw at this point in time...it's pure speculation anyway! as there's no definitive word that there WILL be a teaser shown at events.

so in other words...your basically telling(yes......that's right......TELLING! coming from someone that doesn't hold any authority on here!) me to stop speculating!

I'm thinking TF5 will have it's first 30 second video at the Super Bowl next year since that is what happened in AoE. and considering all the animation needed and filming not starting till summer, I doubt they would have anything worthwhile to share this year. But you never know

Just trying to be objective, but honestly, TF5 is no Star Wars, or even in the same realm as some of the MCU films, which may get teasers in some cases a year in advance. I know the TF franchise is still popular world wide, but TF4 was the franchise low in terms of domestic box office (I know world wide it is still a billion dollar franchise) but....

Botcon happens early this year. We will no doubt see on set photos and perhaps production art at SDCC & NYCC (summer and fall respectively). and perhapsa short teaser in Nov/Dec (A lot of films released previews online in December for some reason), but I would not expect to see anything really finalized until the Superbowl- next year. Again, not saying this is absolute, because, who knows for sure, just basing an educated guess on what has happened in previous years.

After the US, with Chicago in particular, and China, it appears that Transformers will also come to the UK. According to a number of sources, including Screen Daily, Michael Bay and Paramount might be set to head to the UK for their casting and part of the shooting of the next instalment in the live-action movie series for the Transformers. a franchise first UK shoot could bring with it significant benefits in the shape of the UK tax credit should the production hit the minimum spend threshold.

Iceland also offers an enticing incentive for inward investment productions.

Some UK studio work on the film is a possibility, but the production is not yet booked into one of the major facilities, according to sources.

Paramount has its sights set on a summer shoot for the Michael Bay-directed film, having already announced a US release date of June 23, 2017.

The studio may also be lining up repeat visits to the UK, according to sources, with additional Transformers films due to be released in 2018 - a Bumblebee spinoff - and 2019.
