Maybe their policy had changed for a while ago, what I hope, but if not, I think we never get a MP Jazz/Meister based on the G1 mold anymore...

All downsized from their larger toys. Well, I guess that's what Knock-offs are for.
Delta Magnus wrote:Yeah, but to be fair a Classics Blitzwing would be INSANELY difficult to make. You have to transform something from a chunky, blocky, heavy duty vehicle into a slightly bigger, aerodynamic vehicle and also into a robot. Until actual transformation cog technology is invented, a Classics Blitzwing would probably come out with either:
A: A blocky mess of a jet mode with protruding treads and cannon,
B: A hollow, weird looking tank full of holes with thrusters on the back and no turning turret,
or C: A weird, malformed, hideous homonculus of a robot mode.
Or a combination of all 3. After all, look at G1 Blitzwing (complete brick of a robot mode) and Animated Blitzwing (great robot mode, stupid tank mode and atrocious jet mode). A Cybetronian Blitzwing might work...
One I hope they never make is a classics Broadside. A triple changer should never have an alt mode that can carry hundreds of his other alt mode. I mean, I know scale was never Hasbro's strong point, but come on.
And no, Warbot Assaulter does not count as he turns into a sort of space gunship thing and a futuristic naval destroyer, and he isn't really a Transformer.
Not that G1 Broadside had a particularly convincing jet mode, but...

At this point, I'd be willing a sacrifice a mode for a decent Blitzwing. If he just had a good robot mode and good alt mode it could be the plane or the tank. Just so I can have some version of him in my lineup.
I always thought the Cybertron Voyager Starscream mold would've worked as a redeco.

If you have never seen it, check-out my very own custom APETIMUS SUPREME. At first, it was supposed to be a Cybertronian Blitzwing, but it became it's own character.
That's kinda close enough, right?

Pretty cool.

True, but there's nothing now really preventing him from being improved severely in quality without affecting the transformation. Additional articulation would be easy, as would feet which transformed out of the lower leg. The arm modules would need some reworking in the placement of the transformation joints, but it wouldn't be impossible to get much the same look but with the kibble surrounding the arm moved backwards enough to give the arms a nearly complete range of motion. Even the tank turret could transform into something bland and blocky enough to pass as jet undercarriage. The main problem is that the jet mode is very chunky - the tank mode is passable and the robot mode could be spiffed up.
As for a Masterpiece-level Blitzwing, start with the Masterpiece seekers (probably the most recent) for streamlined jet forms. Fold up the wings and ailerons and fold in the nosecone and it becomes a lot blockier. Pull the arms out to the outside of the form and put tank treads on them. Compress the torso. Extend the legs, point them toe-to-toe, then double-fold them back around to the outsides to form more treads. Put in a rotating cockpit. The shoulder vents could probably fold up and cover the head as they're not really needed for the robot mode. Combine all the weaponry into a SAM array and mount it on the nosecone, transformed to stick out of the abdomen. (The nosecone could even transform some into a weapon mount - it wouldn't need the internal radar array). Lie the figure down on its back. It's not a pure tank, but it's a tracked weapon system

Seriously, though, I think we'll never see a Classics Blitzwing.
