Say what you will about the US Zords of today, the Dino Charge ones are not too shabby. I have no big beefs with things omitted from the Japanese original, if anything Dricera's horns no longer turn back. BoA deserves brownie points for anticipating that and sculpting cavities for the horns in Ptera's wings, so you can still make Pteraiden-Oh Samba with the US Zords :DANCE:

Speaking of which, which ones should I get next? I'm actually really anticipating the Titano Charge Megazord (Giganto Bragi-Oh) for the final combination, so I'd need the Raptor and Para Zord, plus some Chargers... The Plesio Charge looks good, but then I'd need the Pachy Zord which seemed to suffer distribution issues (yes, even BoA has them). The Spino Zord doesn't look bad either. Decisions, decisions...

I was gonna wait with showing them off until I got more merchandise, but since that won't be for a while...

Power Rangers Dino Charge Dino Charger Power Packs

11 Deinonychus (Standard) + 22 Fukuiraptor (Fossil)
13 Kentrosaurus (Stardard) + 19 Tapejara (Fossil)

I must say, the figurines were a great idea by Bandai of America. They show what could have been for the 13 Guardian Zyudenryu, even if most use pre-existing templates, like how Kentrosaurus uses the Stegosaurus body type. Also, I'm surprised they went ahead and reissued some packs for Dino Super Charge. My area was stuck on Wave 1 for the longest time. :lol:

Anybody else on the boards collect them?

Nope, not into power rangers stuff. Sentai mecha is what i collect, and figures of the senshi themselves (figuarts up till now, and the simple Sentai Hero figures in the future).

Any of you thought Hasbro was the only one with distribution issues? Guess again: Bandai of America has them too. The second wave of Power Rangers Auxiliary Zords has seen limited release, we can blame overstock of the first wave on that

That said, you can guess the result: scalping, high EBay prices and even greater shortage. Well, guess what:

Power Rangers Dino Charge Pachy Zord with Charger

This is the guy everybody seems to want from that second wave. Here's the kicker: there's a purple variation out, homaging the Cephalazord from Dino Thunder (BoA does homages?), supposed to be a limited release. That one ended up as more common than the grey :lol:

And where did I get him? Ross:

On first impression, I will say this: BoA can be even cheaper than Hasbro. The original Zyudenryu Bunpachy had its own mold, albeit based on the raptor body-type. The Pachy Zord is a straight retool of the Raptor Zord with a new tail and head pieces. You know, that sounds familar:

Ankydon not orange, so i guess he's going to be Cyan like he should?
I'm not a fan of the BoA zords but i have to admit, i like that they're giving all the guardian zyudenryu their own mech forms, even though they were never seen in the series.

Ankylo Zord has already been released in cyan/aqua like he should, tho as a direct retool of the Stego Zord: same body mold removable back included. The redeco is in sickening green and yellow. :SICK:

At least the black Deinosuchus is a better attempt.

No, there's a separate boxed version of Gaoknight, but i don't want duplicates of mechs. I already have the other 4 in Gaoking. I will get a Gaogorilla since that is an actual separate power animal from Gaokong.

Nothing much to report, Toys 'R Us is cleaning out the regular Dino Charge line, so I grabbed these:

Power Pack 12 Deinosuchus + 15 Allosaurus
Power Pack 14 Styracosaurus + 2 Parasaurolophus

Hopefully the Raptor and Para Zords will get liquidated, like Pachy was

Lately I've been suffering from small bouts of... anxiety? Panicking over things I shouldn't panic about? I've been hughogging some of my wife's stuffed toys (especially since we don't have any pets... I miss having cats), and since I love rabbits:

Named it "Pinky" because of the nose, and after one of the wandering cats that used to visit us back in the Netherlands. Such a sweetheart and loved to cuddle.

It's actually quite a fun toy, and very sturdy like all BoJ mecha. I've been playing around with it since getting it. The separate cube animals are actually endearing.

One thing I'd like to get off my chest...

You may have noticed the 2-packs I got were from Dino Charge, the while first ones (with the Deinonychus and Kentrosaurus) were Super Charge re-releases. Well, the Chargers are different between the two seasons in that the order of the animations (for Series 1 at least, with regular and fossil) has been reversed! As in, this:

Regular
Dino Charge: Empty -> Right side filled-> Full-> Left Side filled
Super Charge: Empty -> Left side filled-> Full-> Right Side filled

Fossil
Dino Charge: Bones -> Glowing Dino -> Dino -> Glowing Bones
Super Charge: Bones -> Glowing Bones -> Dino -> Glowing Dino

Weird, huh?

I do appreciate the amount of effort BoA put into them, with more varieties to collect even if they aren't necessarily canon. I guess the Ranger Keys made BoA realise the potential of small collectibles (they have yet to release some canon keys!) :lol:
