As I do love mostly all robots. I was interested in the upcoming Marvel Legends Nimrod. I noted he comes in a three pack, with Psylocke and Fantomex. Now I don't really care for either of them, but was prepared to bite the bullet for the Future Sentinel....

No, I wasn't. For two reasons. 1) I didn't even hear about it until it had already happened, via a video on YouTube. 2) Having been burned by crowdfunding in the past, be it Haslab or Kickstarter, I wouldn't do so again.

Besides I still have the original BaF Sentinel. Which is one of the best Marvel Legends figures ever made. Also imo, it looks better in some areas than the Haslab one.

Apparently they're from the Voltron: The Third Dimension line by Trendmasters, 1998, and have pilot cockpits and missile heads. Now I want to look into completing the set... :-?

Nice, I'm only after the MOTU homages from them (besides He-man -not keen on it, and Skeletor -my wallets not keen on it) but fourhorseman stuff is always good. Too skint to venture into the army builders and vampires. The new centaurs look amazing too. If they make one of their horse men a Bravestarr homage complete with Sara Jane then my wallet is doomed.

My only exposure to hero masher was the doofy-looking RID Strongarm and I can safely say that they're more involved than that. They have less pieces than bionicle. They're more like Marvel Legends in terms of size, articulation, and how solid they are. The heads, arms, torso, and several armor pieces can be removed and swapped out. I was gonna do a full break down of one of these either tonight or tomorrow after work.

Alright, there's a certain way you have to take it completely apart, and I don't have a hair dryer or a heat gun, so here's a link to the Four Horsemen Studios' instructions for taking them apart. There's also a picture that shows how many pieces their 1.0 and 2.0 designs break down into.

And I just can't get over the fact that they made a CHILDREN'S cartoon with a licensed CHILDREN'S toy line based on a ADULT ONLY ultra crass movie. Seriously, I saw the movie only once as a child in the 1980's. It was so horrible and so great at the same time that I'll never forget it.

I should download it and rewatch this awesome garbage again. 8-)

So strange how Rambo, Robocop, Toxic Avenger, Aliens etc all had kids cartoons and/or toy lines. To be fair, I had no idea the Troma films existed when saw the cartoon (I was under 10yo). It wasn't until the 2000's before I discovered and watched the films.

Yep, I hate having to preorder to guarantee getting stuff on top of that as well. NECAS TMNT is great but Super7s Mutagen Man (a figure I picked up on my childhood Disney holiday in Florida) and Muckman will look amazing next to NECAS/Bandais S.H Figuarts. I havnet splashed on any Neca stuff yet becasue if I have more then just the (Bandai) Turtles it's just not something I can afford at super7s £50+ a figure.

Exactly. Storm Collectibles are another name I'd add to that pile. It took me six months and sourcing multiple site listings to secure a pre-order for the newest Mortal Kombat Kharacter - Motaro - for my collection. The price of Super7's stuff would be a little more palatable, like the Masterpiece Line, if their releases were more frequent on time, too.
