Bought myself some sale items. One of these, is exceptional. The other ..is the most disappointed I've been with a new figure since MP Blackarachnia. Pics to follow. As I realised I've been a little lazy/distracted for a while. Four Storm Collectible MK figures. Three Super Shredders and a Krang, have all just been sitting in boxes gathering dust for quite a while now.

Got that Jeep Wranglers Technic Lego set on sale at Amazon.
It was so fun and interesting to build that I ordered the Dom's Dodge Charger from the Lego Shop. Full price but still. I've been eying it for too long despite never having seen any Furious movies.

That last one I really over payed for but I don't regret it. It was sold out everywhere for a time and nobody seemed sure if it would get restocked so I went ahead of ordered the cheapest one I could on eBay. I paid about $30 more than the initial Amazon Japan price after shipping, but I got it a few days after release thanks to a fast Japanese seller. Cool that we're getting fully articulated "Zords" from Japan at last, and HUGE at 14"! Already ordered Toradragonjin, can't wait to see how they combine!

I fished this Lego Architecture New York set at my local Walmart.

30$.

In CANADIAN dollars.

They had two sets. One for me, and my friend took the other.

Normally that set is 75$can. That was quite the stroke of luck!

Its a nice set and a NICE price I get them for places I've visited. If/when I get to Chicago I'll be regretting that at around £90+ on a good day.

The fun thing with Walmart is that they often have those secret unannounced deep clearance sales. Independently from stores to stores.

If I can find a working price scanner (those are often out of order or downright vandalised) it make toy hunting VERY interesting.

What might have been my favorite figure this year if it had more paint apps, a cheese action lever and some rollable eyes dotted around him. The headpiece on the pig doesn't want to fit into its helmet.

Also some gundam, though I only collect IBO (mainly because I'd rather stick to one series than x amount of figures from decades of series) but I do occasionally pick up some random ones. Will likely end up trying to get each main hero/anti hero from all of the series.

I finally caved and preordered Storm Collectibles Ken The Eagle. Aside from the usual nonsensical and nebulous "Q3 2022" release window. Really excited for the first of the Science Ninja Team.

I'm still mainly collecting villains only but most of the Joes are looking too good to pass on. Was really looking forward to stormshadow with how low effort the movie figure was and I skipped the artic version. Spirit is great plus the Eagle could go really well with a DC peacemaker.

Got New Eternia He-Man and Skeletor for a little over $17 each on Amazon. Wasn't sure about getting these at first, but Pixel Dan's reviews convinced me, the price was right, and there's that rumor about 40th Skeletor not being sold at retail so this works for me.

When you really don't want to start another collection and think well if I get this, then I only need to have three figures (one for each chair)... Thats almost logic, until you get your first of three figures and realise it can't sit down. Plus by that point I've already ordered a figure that wasn't part of my planned three (Goku, Beerus, Whis).

I only have one comic with that guy in it from back in the day, I think he was fighting Forge and X-Force or something. Always thought he was a weird looking character.

Failed toy line? Buy of the week.

Supposedly £18 but £5 at home bargains. I know nothing about this line. For the price and Suze I picked it up, figuring it could be a mutant trooper for motu new adventures or something. This guys a bad guy as he and his unit have been replaced by mutant teenagers (a mutant catfish... Really... A mutant frog... And a mutant scorpion. Or something. There's a mini comic with each figure.

Each figure has some kinda gimmick. The frog guy has squish able skin. They get a point for trying anyways. I didn't pick the frog up as wasn't a fan of the pants on the mutants. Cthis guy has a spring arm punch and light up eyes/annoying sound (meanwhile hasbro has a lazer prime that's just prime... Or not).

The lower right arm is kinda zombi like but then the upper arm doesn't carry details over. The yellow paint on blue has turned green in some places. The legs don't support the top heavy weight but he's great at performing splits. No whereto store his weapons. Some stickers to give him a little bit more detail. Not the shabbiest cheap figure I've ever bought tho.

I've seen those Alter Nation figures all over Amazon and seen a couple of them at a comic shop. They look interesting enough. That particular figure would look good with the new Super 7 Toxic Crusader figures since it looks a bit like a Radiation Ranger.

For me I got a MOTUO Flying Fists He-Man from Amazon for only $13! Looks great for a great price. Almost ruined by my mail carrier to decided to put it on top of the mailbox in the rain instead of bringing it to my house. I can't see my mailbox from my house, but thankfully my brother in law and nephew spotted it and brought it to my house before it got completely soaked through (the top was drenched).

Also the local Walmart had 8 or so of the MOTU CGI series snake playset on clearance for $9. Strange because I'd only ever seen maybe 3 of them in the toy aisle so they must have had a bunch of them in the back that they unloaded on the clearance aisles. Bought one, but maybe I should buy a couple more at that price? It's one of those things that could be worth $200 in 30 years, you never know.

My ready playmobil one shelf continues to grow. I checked their website out and custom vw campers and beetles colors can be chosen but not the minis as yet. Which is a good thing as I'm going to want three 9f them for the self preservation society. Still weird no licenced herbies yet.

I love the flavour text that comes with Flash Gordon. This set reads: King of the Impossible. The Defenders of the Earth set called him: Saviour of the Universe (better than He-Man's, really).

The next wave of this line should be DotE series 2. Looking forward to three original moulds. Really hoping the above 'Original Heroes' line will eventually give us The Shadow, Buck Rogers etc

The Hobby Town near me is sadly going out of business.
It's unfortunate as it's a great place for supplies.
But they had everything 80% off, so I got this guy:

I know next to nothing about it.
The box is huge. It looks like it turns into a robot, a vehicle and a giant fist..
But it cost less than a leader class with the the sale price
I might open it. I dunno.

Also picked up a set booster box of the new Dominaria United with less than awesome pulls from the box, so far

Picked it up at half stupid price. Once again the way the packaging is done it could at least have tissue around the car to stop paint scuffs or cthru plastic marks when they are kind of aimed at collectors. Fortunately only some mini scuffing to the front.
Had the corgi toy as a kid but always like the submersible lotus more. If playmobil ever goes there I'd probably pick one up and at that point playmobil might as well start doing MASK vehicles
