Man, that box got mangled! Amazon really is a mystery, as you said my SS Core Starscream came in a big box while everything else comes in a thin bag.

There's something schizo about Amazon shipping.
Seriously.

My most expensive gundam yet - but only because it comes with a Nintendo switch game. I don't even have a switch.
The European packaging for the collectors edition game and model kit is non existent, they just throw everything in a brown box. Where as the Japanese release of gundam breakers 4 comes in a nice but thin cardboard packaging with a paper wrap around it.
Also the gi joe dreadnok thunder machine (which depending on how bad soundwave looks it mulight stay in vehicle mode-but it is pretty hard to make a soundwave toy look bad). Just need to wait for kip at a discount now. It will feel odd if they don't do a prime and hotrod for the line.

Finally found some new TMNT reissues at Walmart (Target is still dry after months). Was able to get Sewer Sports Mike, Raph and Don, no Leo. It looked like a fresh case and there was two Mikes so I'm guessing someone screwed up the case.
Also got a S.H.Figuarts Netflix Ultraman that was on clearance there for $10. I'm not crazy about the super stylized lanky design, but for the price he's fine.
Also from FedEx a few hours ago I got my Premium Bandai S.H.Figuarts Sage Naruto figure. I actually kinda screwed up and bought two, I forgot I had already ordered one and didn't double check my account like I should have...
And from Crunchyroll got BUZZmod Gurren Lagann Yoko

Some stuff to build. I'll try and get a photo uploaded of the S7 party wagon alongside the technodrome when it arrives - it will almost be like having supersized micro vehicles next to each otheror no scale hot wheels.

I tend to make some of them on train journeys (must not lose part, must not lose part) or whilst watching the cartoon series (must not cut through wrong part, must not miss-assemble). All the anime has some good blu-ray sales on this time of year in UK, so I'll end wanting even more models -I've got Seed -watched, Destiny -started, build/tri fighters and mobile fighter ordered.

Tl;dr ulala is an inept courier and because of them I'm not ordering from Show Z Store again.
So I ordered the Pumpkin Princess figure from Snail Shell off of Show Z Store in August. It gets shipped out and should arrive by October 1st, I thought "Perfect timing!" So it goes from the international shipper to a courier called Ulala. And on October 1st it's delivered to the wrong apartment building on the other side of the city. So I have to contact ulala, who directed me to contact show z store so THEY could contact ulala. So I do that and get told that I have to wait for them to investigate the issue. A month goes by and I hear nothing until I check the show z store website and see a message asking if the issue was resolved. It wasn't so they sent me a new figure. It gets into canada, gets handed to ulala qgain, and they lose my parcel. I tried contacting ulala again. No one answers their phones, no one replies to the emails. I sent an 3mail saying I needed it delivered on a wednesday ornweekend when I'll be home. I leave my cell number and tell them to call me when my parcel arrives to ensure I get it. Come Thursday and I figure that if I don't hear anything by Friday I'm contacting show z store and asking for my money back. I check the tracking one last time and I see that it's suddenly updated to tell me that my package was left in the foyer of my apartment building. No contact from them at all.
I asked show z store if they can use a different courier when the package gets to canada and they said it wasn't something they could change.
No fault on show z stores part, they did all they could to help me. Sadly if the only option they have for in canada couriers is Ulala then I'm not gonna be ordering from them again unless they get a new one. Ulala are completely inept and there's no one at their customer service.
At the very least, I got my girly figure~

Been on a bit of a Voltron buying spree lately.
1st order: Panosh Place Voltron and 10 figures from eBay.
This was the Voltron I had as a kid. Compared to similar lots I got it for about half of what others ask. The chrome looked better in the pictures, but it's fine. Joints are loose and these are notoriously hard to refurbish, but maybe I can get some friction in there.
2nd order: 2024 Panosh Place Dieklops 14" figure.
I don't know if this is the same Panosh Place or a new company based in Australia using the same name and assets, but I could not pass on our first ever giant Robeast ever. I didn't realize these were even being made until I started seeing them on eBay. They're limited to 600 and the US allotment sold out before I could order. However the AU store still them in stock and shipped to the US so I orders from there. It was more than twice the US price after shipping. Plus the store is slooooow and has terrible communication. I was charged immediately but didn't get an email back after ordering and it didn't show up in my store account. After waiting a week I emailed them and continued to wait without ever receiving a reply. Another week went by and I was just about to reverse the charge when I suddenly got a shipping notice from the store and DHL. Still took an additional two weeks to arrive for a total of 4 weeks.
He's great, though! I don't know if he looks like he would look if made in 1984, but I'm just happy to finally have him. Only issue I have is being made of vinyl it doesn't just stink of plasticizer but it's already leaking out and this guy has oily areas from it. Once I'm able to display him he's going to need a bath first.
3rd order: Matchbox Vehicle Voltron
This is a grail item of mine, haven't seen one in person since I was a kid, but all of the Matchbox sets were pretty expensive back then. What I paid might actually have been a deal after inflation.
This one I actually had to bid on and was surprised to get it for under $300 shipped. The figure itself is in great condition, really nice chrome all around. There is an issue where the package foam reacted with the paint on the sides of feet/4x4s but it sure as heck isn't a deal breaker. Box itself is not in great shape, most of the flaps are gone, but the front, back and sides are nice so it'll display well. Man it's cool! I didn't realize until recently that Matchbox didn't include the sword with him, but I do have the full size KO from TRU from like 15 years ago or so that did include a sword so he'll be getting that.
4th order: LJN Battling Black Lion from ebay
Got this one fairly cheap because it's not very well known by people and the motor doesn't work, but the lights do! His chrome is in perfect condition so it probably didn't get played with much I think I can probably fix it. It is missing a its tail and one of the discs on the back leg, but it'll at least make for a nice display piece as is. Pretty sure this is modified from the diecast Voltron since it has unnecessary parts like folding wings and opening ears/horns.
5th order: LJN Battle Riser Voltron (and a bunch of dirty Legendary Defender figures)
This thing is dumb, ugly and I love it! The idea is that it lays down and vaguely resembles the Black Lion and then stands up. There's a Vehicle Voltron version, too. No idea if it works and I don't really care, I just need it to stand there on the shelf. No idea why the seller had it with a bunch of Legendary Defender figures that look like they were dug out of a sand box, but they have their helmets at least so we'll see how they look after a bath.

The Furyu Bicute figures look interesting and I never had a bunny girl before. I don't want to pay a fortune so those are just right. I could get a Bicute Miku locally, but I'm overdosing on Mikus. So, I found at eBay the "best" waifu, Super Sonico and her super assets!
I'm surprised that even at that "low" price point, she still have real fishnet stockings.
Nice!

Revoltech My Hero Academia Mirko was just delivered today! This is a fun little figure.
Funny that my only other Revoltech figure also has bunny ears!

She's really well built and the figure is nicely made, too!
OK, I need to post my non-Transformers haul before I end up with another box coming from AmiAmi (it's going to be a big one), thankfully the last box from them was only two figures.
AmiAmi:
figma Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- Ciel DX Edition
S.H.Figuarts Sabo -Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army- "ONE PIECE"
Crunchyroll:
Skip and Loafer - Mitsumi Iwakura & Sousuke Shima POP UP PARADE Figure Set - Crunchyroll Exclusive
Naruto - Ichiraku Ramen S.H.Figuarts Figure Set
Amazon Japan
S.H.Figuarts Okarun (Transformed) "Dandadan"
Amazon
Funko Pop! Bitty Bots: Voltron - Voltron with Shiro
Funko Pop! Super: Voltron - Voltron (Retro)
Pretty sure that's everything.

Walmart had some older stuff on the shelves today for some reason. Digging through Hot Wheels on the very off chance I'd find a Bumblebee or OP I spotted a bunch of cars with 2023 printed on the cards. Weird. But I was happy to find a TMNT reissue Storage Shell Don which I had passed on in favor of the other three since I still have my childhood one, but recently I was thinking my original is kinda beat up and missing some weapons, so I bought this one.
Also I was at the local record/book store chain, Bull Moose, which recently started buying and selling used toys (lots of old Star Wars and stuff) and on the pegs of small bagged figures I found a bunch of loose Funko Mystery Minis Horizon Zero Dawn blind box machine mini figures for $3 each, they usually sell for around $5-$6 in box. Grabbed the four I found, a Tallneck, a Thunderjaw, a Watcher and a Corruptor. Good stuff!

Sadly doesn't include a mini comic of him dismembering himself and placing his body parts in packages to mail to castle grayskull...
But it does include a piece seperator that acts as riot shield and has the horde logo on it

For once, Amazon shipped my my Pop Up Parade in a BOX, not an envelope! Joy!
It is Marcille from Delicious in Dungeon. I find her adorable.
Also, some sort of cheapo tank, that is made out of hard plastics and have lights and sounds. This is for a possible custom project that I will make.
Appart the "hammered silver" paint, there's an item that is now basically ILLEGAL in Canada since last September 2024: A Tamiya spray paint can. Why the ban? Because "muh safety/environmentalism" bull of course.

Model kit I got in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Put her together already. Was a fun build!

How solid is she? Because so far, all the kits that I've built feels bad in hand. Kotobukiya, Bandai Gundam, Furai Transformers... There's always some fragile element and they are not fun to play with because of breakage risks and things popping off.

I feel like that's how model kits are in general. They aren't really toys and are more made to look good on a shelf. This one does have some parts that pop off easily. I lost and found tiny pieces, and some parts are so small I could have accidentally inhaled them without noticing. It's definitely a chore to put these together but honestly the results are worth it.
Do have to be careful handling the final product becaus, like I said, they're not toys.
