By the way Kanrabat, there is one big non Transformers giant robot toy I have been looking for (that does have a Sonokong version). It is Great Goldran from Takara. He is an upgraded form of Leon Kaiser.

I saw the review a while back. This guy is just INSANE! Very G1-ish. But I'm afraid of the overall pricetag to get everything

Lots of Super Sentai stuff arrived at the same time in the mail!

Once again with Ninninger, I got my Kaizoku Gokaiger set in one go! The Megazord and the Pat Striker. Man, I LOVE these guys! Korean version, of course. Like Transformers, only the box differ and the sound clips from Pat.

From my local TrU, I got the Power Ranger Red Super Charge figure to go with my T-Rex megazord.



The vehicles and neat. The gallion and Pat being the obvious winners.



Man, he's MAGNIFICENT!



At first, I thought it was a lame gimmick. But after watching the whole Gokaiger series, I've been brainwashed to love it!



Pat being put to good use.



My Gokaiger team is complete! Skipping the giant racecar because he's stupid and way to many parts are left over for the super mode.



That dino PR display is complete as well!

Ebay, along Pat Striker. As the Rex, the best price was on Amazon.com.

BTW, that series is FANTASTIC! I can provide a torrent for a FRENCH fan sub if you wish. They went all out for this one. PM me if you want it.

Back from the family trip to El Paso TX, and no TF's to show for it. So I got Power Rangers stuff instead :



Dino Charge Power Pack 20 Ammonite + 5 Triceratops (Fossil)
Dino Charge Power Pack 21 Archelon + 6 Pteranodon (Fossil)

The only two I could find, really. The rest was current stuff I can get back in Dallas, TX. It's hard playing catch up... My wife really likes the turtle, I may have to get her the clear one some time later.

Then, at a Toys 'R Us outlet store (my local one turned out to be seasonal and has since left) I got this:



Movie Edition Ninja Mega Falconzord Charger

This one was actually a Toys 'R Us giveaway item from last year, and is meant to compliment a set from either SDCC 2015 or NYCC 2015. The promotion has long ended, but apparently they still had stock, so they're selling them off in outlets at a rather hefty $4.99. Still, not something you see every day.

In case anyone's curious, these are the ones I'm looking out for, all standard:

- 16 Diplodocus
- 17 Oviraptor
- 18 Iguanodon

- 15 Allosaurus
- 19 Tapejara
- 22 Fukuiraptor

Personally I would stop at King Shurikenjin. The Ha-Oh formation is a bit lackluster especially since Bison King's upper torso is simply attached to his back.

In other news, a trip to the Dallas Zoo on Sunday with the family means buying souvenirs!



My "sister-in-law" (actually a really close cousin-in-law) and her little 6-year-old boy went with, and he wanted to get the same ones I got! Don't know if it was out of admiration or envy...

No, there is a small booklet included with instructions and info, but the main thing is parts . It's one of those partswork series from deagostini, where you get some parts every week.
In the end, you've got a large Thunderbird 2, 2 pods and most of the pod vehicles seen on-screen.

Deagostini, that's a name I haven't heard in a while. I've seen commercials for their magazines with either collectibles or parts of model kits, but I never would have guessed they were active in Japan.

Received my Grand Galvatron Takara set this week, which I bought secondhand, good as new, in original box and all. I'll see if I can post pics later.

Thinking about ordering the Sky Reign set of 5 from Kapow. If only shipping weren't so high, but still not a bad price.
Also thought about adding the Bruticus set of 5, but he's a tad expansive, and I prefer the Takara set (for the grey head and space shuttle mainly, and better colouring overall)

Deagostini, that's a name I haven't heard in a while. I've seen commercials for their magazines with either collectibles or parts of model kits, but I never would have guessed they were active in Japan.

This particular collecting thing is actually exclusive to japan so far. I'm gonna keep new ones sealed for a while, since i don't yet know if i'll be getting a second tube of glue later on and i don't want to waste the first one. Building issue 1-22 leaves you with this:








Also, since i now have cube koumouri, i can put this beast together fully

I went the deep end...



The first real Lego set I bought in years. On sale at only 100$CAN at TrU right now!

I even bought another 30$CAN of loose pieces at the local Lego Store to build some kind of platform to simulate the vessel above the water and the rest below. I'll make a proper thread when everything is built.

Gotta love Lego. The concept of specialised Lego stores is still foreign to me, though. I know one in Delft that's privately owned, and it deals in current and older, second-hand sets too.

Anyway, on my hauls:


Power Rangers Dino Charge Deluxe Spino Zord

That was a bit of a tough call to make, especially since I like the Limited Edition redeco as well. But the original was being supplanted and disappearing, so I got him. Now if I could only find the regular Ankylo Zord!

In the Charger department, I hit the Jackpot:

Apparently Bandai is keen on re-releasing some of the older packs, and since the upcoming wave had only one new figurine in Series 1 (10 Brachiosaurus) it's understandable. I'm almost caught up, just missing 2 (15 Allosaurus and 19 Tapejara), then I can work on replacements for the regular Zords.
