Looking through a little history of Transformers character Emirate Xaaron, he is depicted as staying in 'bot form form many years, but his alt form is a type of 'tank'.

Can anyone suggest a fitting Transformer that could take the place as Emirate Xaaron in a Neo Classics take on The Wreckers? No, he isnt a Wrecker himself but an additional figure to the greater story of, which would be kinda nice to stand alongside the line-up.

Scale wise, I would say he needs to fall around Deluxe size, no smaller, but I guess Voyager may work.
Perhaps Cybertron Galaxy Force Vector Prime in his golden deco might work, but he aint a tank!

What do you Seibertronians think?

Not sure you're going to find anything with a reasonably close alt mode in the right colours. What is more important, alt mode or colour? There are a few options if you are willing to do a little customising.

Keeping with his back story, I guess I would have to go with robot mode, something in yelow or gold, with a possible Megatron likeness (he looks like Megatron minus the gun alt mode kibble)?

Heck, I would even pop for a KO Deluxe G2 Tank Megatron in yellow/gold!

I assume you are talking about a KO of this version of Megs.

I don't know enough about Emirate Xaaron, but I doubt there are any transformers toys that look like that

and still transform

If he is a bot that doesn't transform then any robot with 2 arms, 2 legs and Megs head stuck on it should work

As for Springer, even though he will be replaced with the Generations version, I doubt I'll sell him. Never sold a tf yet (though did give 3 to my 9yo cuz to help get her hooked on tfs ) and probably won't in the future. To be perfectly honest I'd say don't bother with the FP version. Mine can sometimes stand up unaided, but he needs a lot of his weight focused forward to even have a chance. He suffers from the crappy knees that is common with this toy Seriously, you dodged a bullet with that one

I transformed his 6 - 8 times and then left him on the shelf for months only to discover he was using Jetfire, who was behind him, for support. He is a toy you can't play with at all

And people wonder why I'm going to get rid of him as soon as TF:Generations Springer arrives.

I really should try and come up with a Mayhem Attack Squad for my Decepticons. It's going to be more difficult as many of their canon members don't have figs yet.

I've been thinking of starting a thread about them for a couple of weeks now, but could never be bothered! Repurposed a few BW toys to help get it started.
