It really is important to distinguish sooner whether we're talking about RiD or PRid, lol.

So, I recently picked up Cybertron Shortround. Now, previously I thought he had the stupidest looking arms I'd ever seen; however, it turns out that the light blue bits slide back on a groove, forming claw-hands. I wouldn't bother to mention this, but in no photo I've EVER seen of ANY deco of the mold on either tfwiki, tfu, or otherwise, does it show him properly transformed with his crablike claw-hands.

The Movie 2009 Landmine mold, and its repaints Armorhide and Commetor all have two ways to use their weapons.
They can hold it in hand.
Or, if you pop the gun off its lever and flip it, you can put it on his back, and swing it forward, making a shoulder cannon.
I dont know HOW the gun is supposed to be snapped onto that lever, but I have to pop it off and flip it to make it work.

Also, TF Prime RiD Arcee's back kibble is WAY more managable if you pop the front wheel off. You can then peg it onto her BFG to make an ammo clip. Put the blade of to make a Bayonet, and you've got:
1 Wheel storage.
2 A BFG that makes sense as a BFG.
3 WAY less kibble.
Just take the wheel connector, fold it behind her head, and your gold.

If you take Nightstick, Transform him about 3 quarters through, then pop him on the bottom of Skyhammer in Helicopter mode, feet faceing outward, it looks AMAZING as a chopper gun, not to mention that it fits like a glove, but ONLY if it's transformed that exact way.

You can give HFTD Lockdown a targeting system by taking the roof and flipping it over his head in robot mode, also kinda works to deflect incoming fire like a movable shield when in a pinch.

Iv'e been messing with my figures alot today.

And what's even cooler? Those pegs on the outsides of her legs are there for a reason: Thats were you store her FE Arcee Arm Blades! I think that's so cool!

lmao but I think those arm blades are waaaay big for her. I'd much rather trade in one of the big honkers for a smaller one like the PRID one.

Just a couple'a little things. Backfiery looks really good when you leave his daggers facing up his shin in bot mode, opposed to downwards like most of the pics i've seen. The tips of the daggers over the sides of the knees and calves look so much more horned insecticon.

Cybertron Skyshadow/Jetfires wrists can swivel.

I have an observation to make as apposed to a discovery... okay actually that's just the thing. This thread seems now to be less about things your TFs can do that are actually perhaps meant to do, and more what they could do.

Kibble that could be used as a targeting scope, guns from one figure that look good on another, altering something during/post transformation to make a figure look better? Observations.

Not knowing a figure's head/wrists/waist swivels, noticing a missed conversion step, figuring out that a piece of kibble moves/comes off? Discoveries.

Not saying it's bad, just seems that having more of the former versus the latter doesn't seem that exciting.

With that said, here's something that may be a little of both, and entirely unfortunate. Colored vacuum metal parts, like the ones on BW Transmetals, is a multi-layered coverage of chrome with translucent colored paint over top. I've found that that clear top layer tends to chip off before any of the actual chrome does, thus explaining why my TM Rattrap is less shiny red and more just plain shiny... which now leads me to a more recent discovery. Henkei Megatron's shin guards are actually completely chromed with translucent black over top... :BANG_HEAD:

EPIC CHOPPER GUNS!

They flip in and out, the front landing gear can fit in between the guns and you can use Nightstick's arms as more landing gear if you get creative. It's a perfect fit IMO.

For an extra bit of flair you can add Thundercracker's null rays or Seaspray's guns under his wings. It doesn't look too bad, and adds alot of firepower. Plus the holes on the backs of his shoulders for transformation are 5mm, so weapon storage!

i was playing with my armada cyclonus earlier and found out why his tail fin could come off. he has two weapons that can go on his arm the first one we all know of is he propeller blade and second is the tail fin. it can go on his arm. he is now on the shelf like this because i think its bad ass.
