If you mean Combiner Wars Menasor, it's actually a sword and a gun.

Had to watch a video review of TAV-21 Optimus Prime to realise there is 2 ports on the weapon-holding-things for his hands. One over and one under. So, by plugging the ax on top and the lance under, you can have a full ax look.

Movie Gears(and by mold association, Stockade) have two points of finger articulation on each hand. And yet he's molded as having five fingers. Perhaps he's pretending he's Nightcrawler using his image inducer like was seen in X-Men Evolution?

Didn't realize that Combiner Wars Long Haul's arms are supposed to peg onto the treads on Scavenger and Bonecrusher. Was thinking those rear treads were just flopping around!

Yeah but even with the tab fully pulled out it will never be completely firm. I have that figure myself and the chest is still quite loose if you wobble him sideways.

Well... I just found out Apeface's monkeynoggin does attach to his body in monkeymode. Appearantly, it doesn't just have to sit there... It connects solidly to a connector that always was in sight. A-doy.

Knew that since I was a child! It attach to the conector that keep the two halves of the body locked together. I sold my ywllowed-loose-as-hell one years ago for 80$... Now, if I want to buy one again, a complete and good condition Apeface... :-(

It doesn't really work quite as well with the swords.

Ah, this was one of the genesis factors of this thread. I bought the mold specifically for this purpose.

Me too. I have Deluxe Classics Optimus (the one from the two pack with Tank Megs) sitting on the toilet. It just seemed fitting....

I dont have that optimus so I will do it with the DOTM deluxe instead.

I still display Dotm Commanders Ironhide and Sentinel Prime together.

Sentinel is, of course, Ironhide's throne for all eternity. Karmabomb!

RiD 2001 Wedge has a waist joint! I was examining my Universe 2003 Bonecrusher which uses the same mold, and upon flipping out the main combiner connector in robot mode, the waist is able to turn :shock:

Big Convoy's Energon Matrix is just the right size to be able to rest on the 2 pegs on the CW Optimus/Motormaster mold allowing Ultra Prime to have a removable Matrix in his chest! (or Optimus have one in his back which is kind of weird)

I had CW Megatron for a day before I discovered that yes, you can rotate the turret in alt mode. I thought the way the arms transformed prevented it, but they were pretty clever in coming up with a workaround, even if it's not obvious it's there.

Sadly, it doesn't seem there's much hope for a hidden raising/lowering the cannon mechanism.

It's always been firm on mine when pulled out. I have the very first release, maybe you have a later rerelease and the mold's degraded and caused problems? Or yours is worn down? If not, lol Hasbro QA.
