It's actually well documented. A quick search for 'cybertronian boombox' will find pics of it.

I know. I kind of left out the part that I actually just followed a YT video, than made some minor mods to make it looks a bit more convincing.

Well some people (not me, I don't have the figure) might be interested in a before and after pic to show your improvements.

It took me half a year to realize that Generations Cybertronian Optimus' Kneepad folds up in alt mode and ROTF Thrust's feet can bend left and right :))

there are some more of these that havent been covered already here on a fairly new forum. like i said there, i see no point in not at least mentioning these threads to the oother, seeing as they have stuff we dont and vice versa.

with percyceptor, if you open his chest, then hold the chrome bit and push on the yellow bit, they can seperate easily and also reconnect easily. You can have swords stabbed though people finally!
as for the whole chest opening thing in itself in the first place, it makes me wish for a soundwave repaint.
y'know, cos he has the gun on his shoulder vauguely reminiscent of the g1 soundwaves???

Last year I realized that I had been mis transforming my Beast Machines Thrust and Tankor. Also, in Energon Jetfire, what I thought were his robot mode ankles actually needed to be folded up. Not really gimmicks, but is stuff I´ve been doing for years.

Well the figure hasn’t been released yet but…did anybody notice the fact that the DOTM Ultimate Optimus Prime when combined with the trailer looks like Big Chill? I mean he has the same wing structure and he even has the little tiny wing that come from his shoulder blade area

Human Alliance Mudflap's head can turn around to form a battle mask, making him significantly less fugly. Unfortunately Skids does not have such a feature. No idea why not, as it would have made him far better-looking.

^ Whoa! The only reason I skipped on the Twins was because of their ugly mugs, but all this time Hasbro gave an alternative (well, for Mudflap at least).

The piston on RotF Lockdown's hook arm can pop apart, forming a sort of bayonet.
Armorhide/Landmine's gun can plug into Lockdown's piston, making a double-bayonet type weapon.

You have to get the thicker part of the peg in the hole, otherwise it's too loose.

EDIT: PCC Chopster can plug in there too, but he weighs the arm down.
