Hello fellow seibertronians, I am wondering on if any of you have some tips for selling figures, im going to try to sell a good chunk of my collection on ebay to make room (and to help pay for) more mp?third party figures, it a very large lot starting at a biding of 900 dollars and a buy it now of 1000. should I add in free bonus figures, tru exclusives? any help or tips would help a lot! thank you!

Never sell in lots or batches. You lose a lot of money that way and deter buyers.

I'd get active here or on a social media platform and start working down the collection like that.

thanks! but my dad is the one who has to upload everything ( cause im not sure how and its his account) so it has to be a lot, but maybe multiple smaller lots? hmm

While I don't know a lot about places to sell I will say some stuff from the buyer's perspective.

I'd say take good photographs front and back. I like having confidance that the figure isn't missing pieces or weapons. If they are missing things be up front about it and knock a few bucks off the price. I'd rather know about a missing piece and get a deal rather than feel ripped off. (Which can hurt your rep on certain sites!)

Secondly if you do have figures that are missing a LOT of parts, sell them together in a lot. Make sure to add words to the title or description like "Custom parts fodder" so that people who are looking for spare bits can find them. Bonus points if you have a part people are looking for, like a gun or a missile and know which figure it comes from, which can help you make some good money because its always the darn guns that get lost!
