Last I heard, a G1 Titanium Shockwave was in the works. WWI figures are big in the Titanium line. Heck, we've heard about Grimlock making an appearance, so why not Bumblebee?
Don't get your hopes up too high, but don't sulk either. There's a good chance some of these characters will be on the shelves somewhere.
That's the only thing you need to worry about. AVAILABILITY. I live in the UK, so I will never see some of these Titaniums, just like I'll never see Anime accurate MP Starscream or Botcon 07 seeker/ conehead set.
In a sentence, Hasbro suck donkey balls.

I hope some of these do see the light of day because my Titanium collection really needs beefing up.

Cosmos' design rocks, but I've never been a big Cosmos fan. I love that Shockwave, though. And it looks like he has a good transformation, unlike WW Megs' ability to fall down and convert to tank mode.

g1 bumblebee pre-earth was a titanium in the plans, but along with a g1 arcee titanium, the g1 shockwave, titanium, the cosmos titanium, all have been canned. This is straight from hasbro's headquarters where they had a display case of canceled toys, including the planned otfcc exclusive, Rid prime repaint/remold as hotspot/defensor (however, otfcc fudged up big time and when the exclusives that year were supposed to be megazarak, sentinel prime, and hot spot, only megazarak was ready at the convention. Way to f*** up some great ideas 3h).The Master Blaster wrote:Are you so sure we'll never see some of these?

as for the canceled titaniums, they all looked good, and very sleek, unlike most of the blocky or lanky looking titaniums we've had so far. Shock wave looked incredible... oh well...

Well you seem to be in the know. Does this mean the Titanium line has a limited future, or did Hasbro simply decide not to go with these few molds.

WTF Hasbro? Do you not want our money?
Surely they must know the fans are insanely eager for original molds of fan fav characters line Shockwave and Arcee(and Cosmos).
First Classics gets canned and now Titaniums? these in my a opinion are the two best lines since G1, they are what got me back into collecting.
this is depressing to the max after the slap in the face that the BotCon seekers were...

I MUST HAVE THESE, TAKE THE IMAGES AWAY, GET THEM OUT OF MY HEAD!
Arcee, Cosmos, Shockwave.... so beautiful. I really hope they release these once classics relaunches. I know I'm being the optimist, but I think classics will come back due to fan demand, and I hope these are part of that rather than titaniums. That way they're plastic and won't have the same problems my titaniums have.

as far as what I was told, "no new molds" but that doesn't necessarily mean the line is dead... yet.xxaMaxx wrote:Head Shot wrote:g1 bumblebee pre-earth was a titanium in the plans, but along with a g1 arcee titanium, the g1 shockwave, titanium, the cosmos titanium, all have been canned. Well you seem to be in the know. Does this mean the Titanium line has a limited future, or did Hasbro simply decide not to go with these few molds.
However, its a shame that bumblebee (they had a cliff jumper head as well with the bumblebee), shockwave, arcee, and cosmos are not going to be released. All of them looked great, and the line was really starting to improve. I hope we get more titaniums down the road, and eventually maybe even these canceled guys, but it may be like classics, dead.
It was interesting to note that during one of the presentations for marketting the movie, they mentioned in order to get peoples attentions, they came up with classics, a way to "bring in" the older fans, be it parents who watched the show and bought toys for their kids, (as they said, using nostalgia as marketting), or even a long time die hard fan.
I hope that they continue with both lines down the road, because classics rocked from the begining, and titaniums were really starting to improve.

Damn shame. Way to go Hasbro, you F***ed up another good line.

"Consider the knowledge dropped."
From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

Both of those big things next to hound were simply kit bashes, and weren't actual hasbro product. The people on the tour established that, and had displayed it in the case because the kitbashes had been given to them.Dead Metal wrote:Ok soe this means for Dead Metal:

If they used it to rope people back in, then what was the sense in cancelling it? For a lot of people who liked Classics, I suspect the movie toys will not be appealing. I certainly don't care for them, and I doubt I'm the only one. There's a pretty big difference between the look of the two groups.
